Gizeh Unisex Leather Sandals

I have worn these manydays now. And let me tell you: THEY ARE LIFE SAVERS! They do fit as expected, very hard sole asn shoe in general. I am very used to flip flops so I can say that the toe is a bit of an issue for the first year but by the end of the second day, I had zero issues at all (didn't have big ones to begin with, just felt hard, that's it) The sole really start acommadating your foot really fast and the feel of the leather suede is AMAZING, I don't have much of an arch so this shoe really bugged me from there the first two days but in the end it will be good for posture, feet, etc and after two days I really don't feel anything but support in everysingle inch of my foot. I used them a day after going to a club, they saved my hurting feet, I am so bumed I can't wear them everyday to work :(. So after having these for a few days, I did go a SIZE down. I am a solid 7 in sandals, pumps, flip flops, etc. and a soid 7.5 in tennis shows, I bought the 37 regular, they fit great, my toes have room in the front and my heel has room in the back, you really really need to try these on in a store or really know your feet to perfection, trust me go a size down. Soooo, once your feet get used to the footbed you will be in feet heaven, really really a great investment shoe wise. The color is a deep wine burgundy, wayyy darker than the image (BETTER, I love darker color just a pop od differente) So for me that was a big plus. I am beyond happy!! So: No toe issue, great fit, they run a size big (go down 1 size), great leather, great footbed,

I must be honest in that I have never found the original Birkenstock (Jesus) sandals super attractive...but people have always raved about their comfort. Even so - I couldn't bring myself to buy a pair because I just didn't think they were cute or feminine - and, the few times I had tried some on, I thought they were NOT comfortable and I had no idea what people were talking about. Well, fast forward to about two weeks ago when I was reading a travel blog post about travel capsule wardrobe items and the lady mentioned this style of sandal. She extolled their virtue of being incredibly comfortable, hardy, and feminine enough to wear with just about anything. She also explained how you need to wear your Birkenstock sandals for a few days so that the heat from your feet can mold and shape the foot bed exactly to your foot. Wait, what?! Light bulb!! After taking a long, hard look at sandals she posted, I thought the day had come to try, especially since they looked way cuter (to me) than the original sandals and - if they were versatile enough to go with shorts, skirts, dresses, and pants...then why not? I ordered them and they arrived quickly. The box they came in was crunched seven ways to hell (torn, missing pieces) but the sandals inside the remains of the poor box seemed unscathed. I especially liked the color, which was true to the online photo, and the buckle, which I adjusted to fit my foot. I have rather flat feet so at first, I found the foot bed to be hard and uncomfortable, but I persevered and kept them on...and then - before I knew it - they became incredibly comfortable...AND...they support my flat feet beautifully!! Now? I love everything about these sandals! I am a very (VERY) happy camper - and you will be, too! They are very well constructed and I imagine wearing these amazing shoes for a long, long time. :)

These are my favorite Birkenstock sandals. They are lightweight and have great arch support. They fit great. I normally wear a 8 1/2 and 38 cm is the better size.

I was previously a Crocs addict (I have several pairs of their ballet flats) but kept seeing these Gizehs around town and finally decided to invest in my first pair of Birkenstocks a year ago. I am a size 6-6.5 and went with the 36 because the recommended 37s were too big when I tried them on in the store. I had to ease into wearing these when I first got them (short walks for the first few wears) until my feet got used to the shape of the shoes, and even noticed that my feet needed an adjustment period after they came back out of storage this spring. But now my feet have been spoiled and my previous go-to Crocs feel inadequate for all the walking I do. As an urban mom of 2, I walk 2-5 miles a day and need the arch and heel support. The only gripe I have with these Gizehs is I can't run or even walk very fast in them because that toe thong jams between my toes and hurts. As for the looks, they're certainly cuter than the traditional Birks but they still give me hobbit feet. I ordered the silver for something a bit different and dressier, but now I wish I had ordered a tan or brown leather because with shoes this clunky, I think I'd rather they just blend in. On the plus side, the Birko-Flor synthetic leather had no break-in period and looks brand new despite the miles I've put on them. Hope this is helpful!

The Birkenstock are very comfortable

I'm sad the toe thong isn't leather, the plastic is stiff and thick. Takes some commitment to break in. Otherwise great. Fits as expected.

I have been wearing a pearlized white Gizeh style Birkenstock with a little adornment on the shoe for many years and they always receive compliments. With care and resealing of the cork, they still look great after all these years, but I purchased a pair of pink suede Gizeh thong sandals and was hit with the itch for more. Because of the low cost of the current Graceful Morocco Gold Birko-Flor sandals in my usual size, I ordered a pair a couple days ago and have been wearing them now for an hour. Tonight, I'm stepping out with the new shoes and know I'll have no problems walking. This style is the most sleek, in my opinion, of the Birkenstocks and creates the appearance of a longer foot. When wearing the Arizona style, I find that my feet appear chunkier and wider, but I love that style as well. My Boston clogs also create a wider appearance, but I'm excited that Fall is approaching and I'll be wearing mine even more often. I have a little advice for any Birkenstocks. Take good care of them and they will last for a long time. Clean them and reseal the cork when it appears to be a little dry. Wipe them down after being exposed to salt or chemicals. Don't let the soles wear down to far, but have them repaired by a reputable shoe professional. I was thinking of doing a little adornment myself on these shoes and will post an image if I ever get around to the crafty endeavor. I first must redesign the green suede Arizona sandals the new puppy dined on last week.

Love my Birkenstocks. I tried dupes and the fo not compare. They were close in appearance but the wearability was certainly noticeably different. These shoes are classic. They are durable and once they conform to YOUR foot are irreplaceable! Well worth the investment. You can find a much cheaper brand but in the end your feet will pay the price! Just keep an eye on Amazon and the price will become affordable if you have the patience.

Wow! Firstly - thank you Amazon for the superfast delivery - 36 hours from ordering to wearing them!!! Secondly, these Birkenstocks are my second pair - and the only toe posts I can wear without thinking of any rubbing anywhere. Very well made and extremely comfortable and durable. They come up a size larger than other shoes so I ordered a size 4 when I am normally a 5 or 6. Two widths are handy too. Brilliant every time.

Der Schuh passt wie erwartet und sieht genau so aus wie auf den Bildern. Ich persönlich bin sehr begeistert von Birkenstocks. Die Qualität ist super, sie passen sehr gut, sind äußerst bequem und sehen gut aus .

Son un poco duros al principio pero después son muy cómodos. La talla viene correcta.

Passt perfekt. Größenmäßig genau wie erwartet. Nicht größer oder kleiner als normal. Die schmale Passform ist super. Auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen.
