can you use this alone without foundation or concealer on top, just to neutralise some redness? or will it looktoo green on its own?

Could I use this on a heart operation scar that’s two years old

I would suggest Bio Oil to reduce and minimise your scar. I have used it on the scars after both my hip operations and you can't even see them now. The scars were several inches long and quite raised and red. Rub a tiny bit in morning and night (or just at night if you find it too oily to apply make up on top) for about 6 months and you will see a great reduction in scar tissue and redness. I bought one large bottle and there's still plenty left! It will work out much cheaper than several small bottles of primer.
