Sturdis - Toy Organizer - Kids Bookshelf Toy Storage

Love this cabinet! We remodeled our bedroom into a new family room and added this to the small play space we created for our 3 year old grandbae. The room is 25x13 and this fits great along the back wall. It holds tons of toys and allows the toys to be sorted by type. I find the sorting helps rotate what the Bae is playing with instead of having a bunch of jumbled up junk. The bottom cupboard is a bit wee but it is a great hiding place for special mystery gifts for the Bae to find. I only gave 4 stars for assembly because there was a problem with the locking bolt which pushed through the back of the piece of wood, since it is in the back of the cabinet it doesn't show. Other then that it was easy to assemble. One other concern is that it can tip over very easily if your wee one climbs on it. We secured ours to the wall with screws and it it has worked out fine.

Bought this for my 3-year-old granddaughter’s toys. The shelves are in my living room and look very nice. She and I both love not having to dig in the bottom of her previous storage bins that housed everything in a mixed-up mess. Now we can easily see which tubs hold her little people, her animals, her legos, etc. She’s also learning how to put things away in the proper place, making my job a lot easier! The shelves are solid, sturdy, and attractive. Assembly was challenging until my husband finally figured out that every single board was incorrectly labeled! After that, he used his own logic and had no further problems. Perhaps the unit could be considered a bit pricey for simple toy storage, but I’m happy to pay the price for a unit that’s sturdy AND looks good. Highly recommend.

It took me and my spouse about 2 hours to assembly well because we don't any experience in setting up furniture but the instructions were pretty clear and the parta labeled correctly. One thing was just that there was a screw missing and there was no smell. I hesitated to buy this because of the reviews about the smell but I am very happy I bought it and I smelled nothing. I would definitely recommend it

As I write this review, I have had this product for only one day, but so far I am very pleased. The storage chest was relatively easy to put together, considering that all furniture that comes in pieces is somewhat frustrating to assemble. Once finished, it looks very nice. The piece feels very solid and sturdy, and is currently holding quite a number of toys. Especially given the price, I am extremely pleased with how durable and solid it feels. The unit arrived on time and was well packaged, with all parts included and labeled clearly. The shelf certainly serves its purpose of storing lots of toys in such a way that my 1.5 year old can see all of her options at playtime. I love the side shelves to store books and the shelf with the door which hides some of the more messy items. Two critiques I have that prevent me from giving 5 stars at this time: 1) the side of the unit that has the shelves (on the left if looking at the photo) does not have a solid piece of wood behind it. There is one piece of wood that goes in the back to prevent your items from falling off the back. While that piece is very solid, the trouble is that there is quite a bit of room above it and below it for items to fall backward. This is a problem for those small board books I am putting on those shelves and would likely be problematic for other smaller toys. I think a full board behind each shelf would be better; and 2) I think there is room for two more smaller plastic bins. If you put the larger bins on the top two metal poles, and all the smaller ones on the bottom (as shown in the picture) there is still plenty of room on the first two shelves for one more smaller bin on each. Personally I would love two more bins to store more toys. Overall, I recommend this product. The two criticisms I have would not stop me from buying it again. Great quality material ,it arrived in the best packaging, packaging was nicely insulated so my product was flawless, no dings, or dents etc. As for esembly,panels 13 and 3 were labeled wrong, panel 3 was labled 13 and panel 13 was labled 3 but with commone sense I figured in out within mins but what also helped is the instructions follows a consistent pattern of how it uses wood pegs and screws, however, on one instruction step there was a panel drawn upside down which made us hault for a moment & question ourselves (my husband jumped in to help me get it done faster ,but someone can easily put together on their own ) but it was nothing more than a bad drawing,we were able to pick up where we left off . In addition, you have to play around with the hinges to get them adjusted just right, otherwise there will be a gap on one end and it won't close all the way on the other end. It all worked out and can't wait to organize my kids books and toys.

The shelf was very easy to assemble. It took maybe 10 - 15 minutes. The trays are perfect for holding all variety of toys and make cleaning up fast and easy. The only real issue was the sturdiness. It's not flimsy feeling, like it's going to fall apart easily or anything. The issue is that it could easily be knocked over. Even with the shelf filled with books and the buckets filled with toys it would't have taken much for our 2 year old to hang on the shelf and bring it toppling down onto him. Luckily we had a few wall supports handy and secured it to the wall. It was a minute fix. Fully recommend this organizer just make sure you have some kind of wall supports to keep it secured for safety.

We have a lot of toys and this looks great in my living room and give my 3 year old a place to put his toys away himself! Love the little cabinent and the shelves for books or whatever you want. Keeps my house clean and organized, was crazy easy to put together! I love this so much! Worth every penny!

This organizer was easy to assemble and very good and strong once finished. We put it up in our living room in the space where the baby plays. I haven't fixed it to the wall yet (must do!) due to permits with the landlord, but, even then, the organizer is well balanced. The 9 month old stands up holding it and reaches for toys in the second level bins and I feel it safe enough that it won't tilt over. Maybe with bigger, stronger kids. Still very important and safe to fix it to the wall. The color is nice, blends well with our space and is high quality.
