Camera Clesr Lid SOLD SEPARATELY
I bought the Cambro 6QT Clear Plastic container (July 2025) to proof bread in. It has nice measurements on it so multipurpose. HOWEVER, to not come with a lid when the container is expensive ($24.60) + tax. The lid was $7.47 ... so, that is one expensive container *why would you want it with NO lid is beyond me.* WITH THAT SAID, I really do like it. I just don't use it that often. If you use it alot... it's a beautiful thing to have. And even though I am complaining some-- I do recommend it. 😀

Amazon, discontinue selling Cambro’s lidless containers and lids!
It fits loosely!! Doesn’t even seal!! Very disappointing! Moreover, I bought this for the container that didn’t even come with the lid. Yes, I had to buy this separately! Dear Amazon, you guys need to either discontinue selling Cambro’s container with no lid, and this lid that doesn’t even fit properly or come up with a resolution. I’m not the only one complaining about this.

Lid fits a little loose
This lid is supposed to fit Cambro RFS6PP190 6 or 8 quart round Cambro Container. I ordered the lid separately to fit this container. If you need a tight fit, this is not the right container and lid combination for you. It fits a little loose but is the right diameter for this container. It appears to be a sturdy lid, but I am using it for refrigerator bread dough rising, so I have had to put a sheet of plastic wrap under it to obtain a really tight seal for this use. The lid fits OK, but I think that the lack of a very tight seal would prevent a good seal for long-term refrigeration, storage, or freezing of food.

It fits nicely with my round 6 qt. food "bucket". Used it for the first time today when I was making bread. Worked like a charm. Thanks.

Kind of a tight fit
ok have be honest, these things are kind of a P.I.T.A.to get on the container but once they are on they work fine. I use these containers for making and storing bread dough. I only "like" them because I need them for the darn containers (which I love).

doesn't seal
I ordered this lid (actually 2 of them) for the containers that were supposed to come with the lids. Long story short, was happy to find the lids to go on top of the containers but when they arrived they didn't exactly fit with a 'snap'. They fit on top of the container and don't seal. It serves my purposes to a point but not at all satisfactorily.
