Is this product raw? does it thicken a smoothie? is there any reason not to mix it with a smoothie (nutrient absorption?)

Hello there, DetoxiFiber is not labelled as raw; however, the ingredients are processed at low temperature. DetoxiFiber is Certified USDA Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, Vegan, Gluten Free and Dairy Free! The recommended use is mixing 1 scoop with 8 ounces of water or (no sugar added) juice, but some folks do like to add it to their smoothies. If you need a raw fiber, feel free to check out https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004H2YFKI. Hopefully this helps. :)Thanks, Noelle K. Garden of Life

Why is this phyllisium free? Isnt it a good ingredient?

At Garden of Life, we believe in using ingredients that are gentle (yet effective) on the digestive system. Our DetoxiFiber® has been formulated for exceptional absorbing capacity and ability to resist breakdown and fermentation by intestinal flora. This impedes toxins captured by its fibers from being re-circulated back into the body, maximizing toxin removal. I hope this helps. In Health, Erin M. Garden of Life
