Sumptuous wool with superb quality and stretch when you move! LOVE this SKIRT! THANK YOU! :)
Sumptuous wool and completely well built quality, pressed and slight stretch when you move. I am in AWE of this skirt every time I wear it! My Mother is 84 years old and she LOVES THIS EXACT SKIRT! My Mumsi is from Wales and wool is her thing! The lilac print, with a small line of yellow on a white background has gotten me PROFESSIONAL complements when I really needed them. Paired with a Sage Find wool purple blazer and you are fabulous, formal but trendy and I cannot explain the ease of use, comfort and versatility as more superb than all my others, even in summer! The floweriness, opacity and classic 'Agatha Christie' style is sure to quietly impress without dominating. You know how comfortable wool has always been and we care for our wool with dry cleaning (if possible) an excellent steam iron (so it hangs right) and we can look up exactly how to wash online so we are careful! I recommend any professional to these skirts they are long, they do not undercut the fabric and they are lined with a slip that is stretch and comfortable as well as modest! Thank you for such a fantastic job! Wowsa you really help me! Thank you and well worth the price! Great work!

Good skirt!
This skirt is absolutely adorable, soft, and I'm enjoying it a lot. It feels like I can't put it in the dryer, but nowadays that's becoming normal of 'soft' items, so I'm not holding it against them. It's the perfect fall color, I love it for looking nice with all my darker gray, black, and dull green tops. 10/10 appearance, perfect skirt for fall and was blocking the wind like an absolute champ on the windiest day I've seen for half the year. There are very minor design issues. The back panel is gathered and they didn't measure to fix this, so the pockets will be a little awkwardly far back. It does fall a bit differently, but I'm also not used to heavy skirts, so take that with a grain of salt. One lovely thing that's a little different is that the measurement on the waist is NOT measured before it's gathered, it's measured after. So whatever waist measurement you get, get one that's true to size or just barely smaller. There is a zipper to the right side to help get it on, and it'll stretch. They're not using cheap elastic, which I appreciate, it feels good stretching it and it doesn't pull too hard. Honestly, I wish I'd gotten a slightly smaller size. There was more care put into the stitching than I expected, with surging and a double line of stitching to keep it together, Idk if it even needs reinforcing like most clothes I've bought. The lining has just one line of surging, which is totally fine, a hidden hem like that takes like 15 minutes to hem, and that's only because I'm picky and hate hemming after something frays. The lining is attached at the hip and loosely falls with two non-stretchy bands, one on each side. I suggest keeping it, since it stops more airflow than you realize. 10/10 pockets, they used the same outer material in the whole pocket instead of the lining, and I can fit my phone and headphones in there easily without it sticking out or making weird sounds. The lining makes it more comfortable on the inside instead of having a random flap of fabric flying around. I'll have to edit my review if it doesn't wash well. There are no instructions or instructional tag on it, so good luck to it on my default setting and a hang dry.

Surprised by quality, thick fabric
I am 5'3" and weigh 140 lbs. when I read the description the measurements were a bit confusing so I opted to buy a large because I don't like anything tight around my waist. (I typically wear a medium.) I was glad to have the large because I would say the skirt runs a tad small but with the elastic waist it wasn't at all tight. The skirt is an a-line so it fits generously around the hip, which is good for me since I'm a small person but curvy. The description said 'long' but the length was perfect; long enough to cover boots and hit at the right spot above my ankle but not long enough that I had to shorten it. For a petite person, it's a maxi skirt rather than a midi. It is lined and has pockets. The fabric is very thick so it's good for very cold weather - if you live in a warm climate or have very few cold days, it may be too thick. Also, the thickness adds bulk so if you are curvy like me, it may make your hips look a bit curvier. Since I needed the skirt for being outside on a cold day dressed up, it's just right. The beige/navy/orange plaid is a nice combination of colors and looks very stylish.

Beautiful drape, great handfeel, awesome wardrobe staple
I don’t usually write reviews, but I really like these skirts and now have a few. I bought the black one in October, and have washed it and worn it several times, both dressed up (nice blouse or sweater and dressy shoes) and more casual (tee, denim jacket, boots). It’s well-suited for both looks. I try to avoid polyester clothing, but I am one of those who is sensitive to 100% wool and finds it really itchy. The wool/poly blend in these is perfect. The fabric is soft, looks really nice, AND held up well in the washing machine. (Woolite in cold water, line dry.) The elastic in the back is nice, although the plain wool has a slightly looser fit in the waist than the tweed-look, which I purchased initially but did return. The pockets are nice and lay flat, although they aren’t super deep, and the lining helps with the way the skirt drapes. The length on the midis is also really nice, and comes down past my calves. (I’m 5’9.) I bought one of the shorter plaid styles, which falls right below my knees, and I’m undecided whether I like the look for me, but if you’re on the shorter side it will likely fall more like a midi on you. Now my biggest problem is deciding which colors to keep, because I can’t justify keeping them all!

Everything I want in a skirt
I have had this skirt for a few years. I primarily wear it on colder days as it is warm and comfortable. I get so many compliments when I wear it because it looks great even on my below average height body. The material is soft and heavy and it has held up well over the years. I highly recommend this skirt. Fits as expected, but the waistband is elastic in the back so it still fits as my weight has fluctuated or if I tuck in a thicker sweater. And it has pockets!

Used product?
I had to exchange to get a smaller size. The first skirt was too big but was brand new and came in their packaging. The length and hang are great. The skirt is also lined. The second skirt came repackaged and you could tell someone else had it before me, as I found a long blond hair on it as well as animal hair. My cat kept smelling the skirt with interest, however; my son said it did not smell badly. This proves this company is not doing quality control and when someone sent it back, they didn’t check the skirt. It was just thrown back on the shelf under XL and then repackaged and sent back out when an XL was ordered. So this is why I gave it 3 stars. The quality of the skirt is good however. At least I made sure the skirt I sent back was hair free and cleaned. I want more colors of this skirt but am hesitant to order from this company due to worry I’ll receive a return that wasn’t checked before being sent to a new customer.

Love it so much, I ordered a second!
Love, love, love these skirts! I now own two, the first I’ve had for a few years now. I have recently been wearing the first (brown plaid) to work in the winter 2x per week. I recieve compliments frequently! Finally decided to get another. The second one (grey) just arrived and the quality matches the first. I’m 5-8”, currently 155 lb, 29” waist, 39” hip, and 30” inseam. I’ve gained ~25 lb since ordering the first one, size medium. Due to the elastic waistband, it still fits beautifully! The second is also a medium and the brand sizing is consistent. I wear it at my true waist and the hem falls about 6 inches below the knee for me. There is a hidden metal zipper on the right side. The pockets are deep, they will hold my phone and a pair of mittens without fear of them falling out. The skirt lining is soft and comfortable. The stitching is high-quality. The first has held up against frequent wear and washing. The materials are synthetic. Overall great product, especially for the price!

Perfect, Except for Zipper Durability
I love, love, love this skirt, except for the fact its zipper had to be replaced after about 8 to 10 wearings and 5 washings. Even with the need to replace the zipper, however, I am very happy with this garment. It is so pretty and is well-cut, soft, and warm! It has a lovely movement and swing to it as you walk. I appreciated the fact it suits a petite wearer and doesn't have such a heavy excess of material that it overwhelms the wearer or gets in the way of movement or functionality. It is a great skirt for walking, doing chores, working, etc. I have always loved Black Watch plaid and find this such an attractive skirt! It was a joy to wear on crisp, cool, autumn days and was just as functional and warm in the heart of winter. Be warned that it DOES leave ankles and a bit of lower shin bare, so on really cold days stockings, a pair of tights, or tall boots are advisable. I would definitely rate this skirt a five-star, except for the zipper issue.

The best winter skirt I have owned
This is a perfect skirt for winter, it’s warm! And the plaid is so fun for the holidays. I get people stopping me asking where I got it every time I leave the house in it. It’s true to size and very comfortable.
