Is there a specific type of oil i have to use? I've seen fragrance essential oils, carrier oils, and just essential oils. Can I use any of them?

Essential oils for the diffuser...carrier oils are to dilute essential oils to use on skin...I personally diffuse organic essential oils this is very important if you have pets in your home my preference is dōTERRA oils

Does this come with the essential oil? Or does it need to be purchased separately?

No The oils need to be purchased separately BUT the diffuser is AMAZING !!

Ordered these for my parts delivery drivers for high visibility when entering or exiting the parts trucks. One size does fit all. Very durable.

Quiet, but only lasted 3 months

Ultrasonics failed after a 3 months. Before total failure, did not come on reliably and turned off by itself even with ample water. Seemed to choke on thicker aromatics. Too easy to get water in air passages. Fan, however ran very quiet and never failed.
