Cleanly machined and hardened punches that yield excellent results.
These punches are solid chunks of hardened steel and given the 12.5mm size, are significantly heavier than you might expect. The embossed stamp headis crisp, well defined, and produces excellent results in the softer metals and I suspect they would even work on mild steel - although it would likely shorten their useable lifespan. My only very minor complaint is the container these punches arrived in. In the picture a heavy-duty plastic case is shown; in reality, a thin, steel, tinfoil-esque carton was provided. However, given the quality of the stamps themselves, it would seem churlish to deduct a star for a slightly substandard box.
