Are these hard green tablets? i took some life force vitamins once that were dark green but i dont know if these are the ones i had.

No these tablets are not green. They are hard, but they are a tan/yellow/light brown speckled color. These are our family's go-to vitamins - excellent quality!

How large are these vitamins

Size of a decent sized vitamin I don't know maybe half inch by a quarter of an inch but believe me very well worth it they are the best most thorough vitamins I've ever found with not crap or filler in them and for a good price

Is this available in a gel capsule?

Not that I know of, but I am not sure about this. You can visit their website...they have a ton of products that you can look through. Or you can contact them directly. They have wonderful customer service!

Does it contain iron and is it gluten free?

The product does not contain Iron. The product is not gluten free, there is Sprouted Barley juice in it. It is Wheat free.
