45 degree bend was perfect
I installed a new exhaust vent in our bathroom. This new unit was bigger than our original unit and this meant that I needed to get around a recessed light can. I need either a 6" elbow or something like this which is about 45 degrees. This worked perfectly for my need. Plus I could could rotate the sleeve to get just the right angle to reconnect our vent tubing.

Good product/ hard to find locally
Product as described. Should be 5 star. One star deduct for rivet missing on collar. However not a problem as I used that as starter hole for screw to secure. Would buy again.

I made my own but these are a good idea.
26 guage check. Best way to jog your duct up in the joist cavities.Big box sells 30 guage 4 piece 90 degree. Way too thin. Cheesy.I did some experimenting.I had 26 guage 90 degrees 4 piece elbows to mate up to an odd size duct damper valve. Using two 90 degrees made for a monstrosity.I split the difference to either end of the valve and got more direct air flow. I then spot welded the joints to make them ridged since once you properly seal them with mastic or butyl tape, they're pretty much no longer adjustable.1st pic shows my first prototype before perfected. It's mounted to a cap I screwed to a board to make the adjustment easier.2nd picture shows two 90 degrees elbows and the valve at the end of the 6 inch pipe.. Too bulky and didn't move the duct up tight. In conclusion, you don't always want a 4 part elbow and you certainly don't want so many joints that installatuon pressure pops the joints hence spot weld.
