This review is for the regular Turkey Sausage Sticks. What a great surprise! I wanted to go with a lower fat healthy meat choice and expected to make a sacrifice when it came to taste and texture as I never think anything is better than beef. Not so! These Turkey Sticks are delicious. Not too dry, not squishy wet, just a perfect bite texture with a pleasant casing that doesn't end up being what you mostly have to chew on. The smokiness level is perfect. I love these and think I get a good product for the price, which doesn't seem to happen too often anymore. I plan to regularly purchase these; I might set up regular delivery. Update: Concerning the mold issue some have, the recommended handling instructions on the package indicated to refrigerate after opening and use within one week. I bought a pound and a half, that wasn't going to happen. So I was careful to only touch the ones I took out of the bag and promptly sealed and put back in the fridge. They lasted three weeks, still delicious, I didn't finish them and only discarded them out of caution, but they still looked and smelled just fine. I am not encouraging that you stray from the recommended use instructions, I am just suggesting cleaner handling practices. I know that's not a possibility in a house with children getting their own snacks, my kids were exasperating growing up, but it might be a reason. I'm ordering again, a smaller package I think.

I would have included a picture for this quickie review, but four adults and two children consumed two different orders of the Old Wisconsin Turkey Sticks within a few hours, and it seemed weird to add a pic of an empty package. The turkey sticks are delicious and have a slight lemon-pepper taste. Love them (and a great gift for anyone who enjoys snacks).

I really like the taste of these sticks. They are firm and not greasy. These make nice snacks. Each package needs to be refrigerated after being opened.

The taste of these is alright—not amazing, not bad. They’re a decent quick protein snack and I like the convenience of having sausage sticks around when I want something savory. My biggest issue is that once you open the package, you have to refrigerate them and consume the entire thing within 7 days. That wouldn’t bother me quite as much if they tasted just as good cold, but they really don’t. 😂 I much prefer the texture and flavor at room temperature, so having to eat them straight from the refrigerator makes them significantly less appealing to me. And unless you’re eating these pretty regularly, finishing the whole package within a week feels a little rushed. They’re perfectly fine and I’d eat them if they were around, but between the average flavor, refrigeration, and short window after opening, 3 stars feels about right.

I liked these very much. Could of had a resealable bag though. Great snack, easy to bring along for the ride. Over all quality was good. Great price. Love the texture and not hard. Not greasy like other brands either.
