Exceptional Quality
Nothing negative to say, some check chains the chrome finish peels away over time, I'm hoping it doesn't happen to this product because it has a lovely polished effect. Very strong, nice weight, we only use ours for dog training it's not left on our GSD all the time, because when it's put on, our dog knows it's work, dog walk and fun time. It's important to use this by putting it on your dog correctly, making sure when slightly pulled it releases, the whole idea of these check chains are that your dog listens to the check chain sound, it teaches your dog not to pull, but follow your direction by the way the dog lead is held and the tension passed via the check chain. Hate the term "choke chain" because when this is put on your dog wrong it becomes a "choke chain" because it will not release. Put on correctly it keeps your dog in check also by tone of voice, consistent commands and the sound of the check chain also small high value treats, making training easier for both dog and handler. It should never be used in anger or frustrating manner or under constant tension. The handler must be in a calm, relaxed, confident, in the right mind set, with practice your dog picks up your vibes. We have tried many other methods to keep our dogs under control using alternatives, I highly recommend this product.

Good quality item
The chain is of good quality. Quite thick. It doesn't glide as well as thinner chains but is excellent quality for the price. I have a Labrador gun dog and the size fits perfectly

This chain collar is sturdy and has a nice weight to it without being too heavy. The silver plating gives it a polished look, and it’s held up well on walks and training sessions. No pulling, no rusting – does exactly what it’s meant to. Great for medium-sized dogs.

Great, easy to use, mostly for our dogs looks rather than use. We switched out to regular collars and harness when walking, but around the house was decent. Comfortable and didn’t catch their fur. Super loose.

Not for me
I have given this three stars just because I found this product not for me. However it is sturdy and would last long but i did not like how my dog reacted as cause too much choke which was scary so I never used it again.
