Question 1

No smell comes out of mine. I tried turning the cap a little bit, am I supposed to turn the cap or just take it out of its packaging?.

Accepted Answer

"It is for absorbing odors, it is not supposed to release a scent. The 'Lavender' and 'Citrus' etc. are referring to the colors but the unit does not actually release a scent..."?! That is ludicrous. Then why does the title say "...Assorted Scents of Lavender or Citrus..."? If they indeed have no scent, I would return them immediately for violating their clearly stated description.

Question 2

Can you refill these discs? In other words can you unscrew the top and refill with baking soda once the scent and deodorizing effect wears off?

Accepted Answer

they are in a little pouch, but no I don't think they can be refilled, but for your info they last for a very very long time. I love these little disks mine are used in a diaper pail that I use for my dogs reusable potty pads and you would never know they were in the room. And when I need to change one I put the pouch in the wash with the potty pads and the odor is gone instantly. I have used these for more then 5 years and have bought only about 3 packs so far, like I said they really last a long time.

Question 3

What are the dimensions of the individual disks?

Accepted Answer

Exactly 2 inches in diameter by 11/16 inch thick. Disassembled they contain a porous bag that fits perfectly in the 2x2x3/8 deodorant container inside my 12.4 Gal Costco motion sensitive trash can (too bad A&H doesn't sell the bags separately!).
