Edit: (I wasn't able to directly answer the question of spacing for someone so I will put it here.) According to my measuring tape, when I measured 5 different spaces in the lights, it was 4". I even had my husband come and double check and he also got 4". I hope this helps I love these lights! They have the warm white that we were looking for and the colors we were looking for. They look perfect on our fence and we had a little bit extra to wrap around a little tree. We have since ordered more because we decided to decorate the other trees along the fence as well. The lights: Bright and colorful. They also have twinkle settings, but are a little more like strobe lights so we won't be using those. There is a lovely mode that soft shifts from the warm lights to the colors that is very pretty. Also helps if you can't make up your mind which you like more, white or colors. The Remote: I think there could be some improvement on the remote. You have to be within about 10ft away and can't have anything in the way for it to work. For example; we can't change them while inside the house. We have to be on our front porch and make sure there is nothing in the way. The tangle: I love the lights, but I wish we had bought a couple of the shorter strands to put together instead of the long one for our project. We ended up spending a large chunk of time, about an hour or so, untangling the lights. If I had it to do again, same brand, just a shorter length for ease of organization. Durability: I will tentatively say that these are pretty durable so far (If that changes I will come back and update the failure time) It rained the night we put them up and they are still working just fine. I was worried about all the untangling that they might have broken, but nope, all still working. I would add though that when we untangled them, we did yank and pull. We were careful enough about it. All in all Great lights. Can't wait to set up the second set when they arrive.

I bought a premium quality artificial, unlit 6.5 foot tree, and the 170 ft light string works for it. Could have been just slightly longer, but close enough. I love the way these lights work, exceeds my expectations. My wife wants white, I like colors.... great that we can switch between them as desired. We first bought some other 'warm white' expensive LED lights, supposedly 'professional quality', completely different brand, and sent them back because they were way too bright, besides not really a 'warm' white. Would have needed sunglasses. The white on these is almost yellowish, but very nice, and I love the colors. The wires seem decent quality, they came rolled up and not tangled at all. Since I had to send the other brand of white lights back, we needed a quick replacement, and I figured I'd use these this Christmas, and maybe get others for next year. Not anymore! I really like the quality of the colors (both white and colors), the remote works fine, I usually go for steady lights but the changing modes are very nice too. We're pretty fussy about the appearance of the tree lights, and instead of being a temporary replacement- these are a keeper!! Love that you can dim them if desired too. Between the colors, switching between white and colored, the different modes, and dimming- great! This is the first year with them- I hope they hold up!! I'll look to replace them in the future, if/when they may eventually go. And got them on sale for $30- quite a deal. Get them.

They are great Little lights. Easy to use, plenty of length, easy to connect. Good deal for the cost

These are perfect! I love a Christmas tree that is covered in lights and very bright. While this was way too many for my tiny apartment size tree it’s the perfect amount of lights for a standard tree! I love that it has the remote option to customize the light colors, timer etc. very easy to use and absolutely beautiful

These MZD8391 262FT 800 LED Color Changing Christmas Lights are great if you like having options. I love that you can switch between warm white and multicolor depending on the day or the mood. Some nights I want the classic white look, and other times the colorful lights feel more festive, so having both in one set is really nice. They’re not the nostalgic incandescent-style lights many people grew up with, but they’re bright, energy-efficient, and very versatile. The biggest challenge is dealing with the length and size of the lights. Since there are 800 small LEDs on a very long strand, they can get tangled pretty easily. Taking them off our Christmas tree took about four hours, mostly because we were trying to carefully untangle everything. They come bundled in rubber-banded sections, which helps a little, but I do wish there was a better storage solution — something like a spool or roll system would make packing them away much easier. What I like: Ability to switch between warm white and multicolor Lots of lighting modes Very bright and festive Great for large trees or outdoor decorating Things to know: Because they’re so long and the bulbs are small, tangling can happen if you’re not careful A better storage method would make them much easier to reuse year after year Overall, if you want flexibility between white and colored lights in one set, these are a great option — just plan ahead for storage when the holidays are over.

It was perfect. Arrived in a timely manner. The lights helped enhance the beauty of my tree. All lights worked. Different modes. It was nice and long. We were able to have it go around my tree from top to bottom. twice. Can't wait to use it again next christmas. It was worth it.

These lights are amazing. When I first opened the package, I thought I was sent a set of white lights. On playing with the remote control, I discovered that the lights can be white , a candlelight color, colors, a mix of the two, some very pretty color combinations, twinkle, slow to various speeds, or steady light. The brightness can be adjusted, too. I am in love with these lights, Oh, they have a six and eight hour timer that can be set to turn the lights off. These lights use very little energy, and don't even get warm. I can't wait to see them on my tree!

These lights are pretty while they work, but they don’t usually last more than a season if used outdoors. Have had to replace three times now and am going to be switching to a different brand. They have also sent me two different strands of lights that are not compatible with each other. Typical Chinese product.

These lights added amazing ambiance to our holiday décor — the colour-changing modes and remote control made it super fun to switch up the look. Bright, vibrant LEDs and the long 108 ft length meant we could decorate both indoors and outdoors with ease. The IP65 waterproof rating gave us confidence they’d handle winter weather beautifully. Would definitely recommend them if you want festive, reliable string lights.

Arrived before estimated day and exactly as advertised. Very happy with these lights and will be purchasing again.

Look great. Purchased to outline a truck for a Christmas display and they work great. A few different settings for colors and they shine bright. Have had them running for 24hrs a day since installation (do not shut off during day) and they haven't skipped a beat. I wish the bulbs were a little larger but I knew what I was ordering. I recommend these lights!
