Informative and inspiring
The book is great with lots of amazing women. I bought it to read with my 8 year old niece and I'm learning a lot along with her! The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I think the reading ages start at 8 but I think it's a bit more advanced. There are words in here that are beyond a second grader's comprehension so I am doing a lot of explaining/defining when we read together.

This is such a lovely book. However I took it apart for a display on my bulletin board in the school library. The illustrations are so dainty and sweet. And, the information just splendid. It's good for all ages: and not just for girls. I will have to get more for the young 'uns in my own tribe.

Love! Girl power!
Love the book! It's veary important for younger kids to be able to have an understanding of role models of both genders. I like that this book shows veary powerful women, from veary diferente backgrounds, to inspire and educate kids. The only down side for me is it haveing to many works for my 2-3 year old student even though the book recommend it from 2-5 year old. It still works be I'm able to shorten then sentences to fit the age appropriation till there older. Love it and happy with the overall content of the book.

We love this book!
We all learn something when reading this book and Vashti is a beautiful illustrator! There's scientists, artists, writers, leaders, innovators from around the world. This is one of our go-to bed time favorites along with her other books.

A great find for Women’s History Month and beyond!
I love this book! It gives the reader a little taste of all these wonderful women of history. I find that it helps start the conversation about these women and the obstacles they had to overcome.

Delightful. Love this Series!
I hope the author keeps these coming. I love learning about such amazing women I wasn't previously aware of, and the artwork is simply lovely. Such an uplifting read. I love sharing these books with the women and kids in my life.

Amazing and inspiring book
This is a wonderful book. I love the people who she has chosen to highlight. When my neice had a daughter this was the perfect present. You want to buy it in hardback if at all possible because the cover is so soft and feels so good in the hand that it is a pleasure to hold.
