Cooling Wedge Pillow - USA Made with Memory Foam Overlay & Removable Cooling Cover - Cool (31x28x7) Recommended Size for GERD and Other Sleep Issues.

I highly recommend this pillow for a couple of reasons. My physician recommended that I get a wedge pillow for my acid reflux. I am the type of person who enjoys extensive research before purchasing products. In my research and now my personal experience, the size of the pillow is extremely important. I'm a larger person who typically sleeps on all sides throughout the night. Here is my quick pros and cons list.Pros:No issues of acid reflux and appears to have helped considerably.I'm tossing and turning far less after sleeping on this pillow.Size matters - this oversized pillow allows you to move about without falling off the edge.Gentle slope - because of its length, the pillow allows for a gentle incline without neck or shoulder discomfort.Cooling outer layer - albeit no extreme cooling affect, it does provide a very soft and somewhat cooler feeling to the skin.Customer Service - had issue with original pillow not expanding all the way, they immediately responded and resolved within 24 hours of contact. Top notch experience.Cons: It is fairly light weight and can move around if you are an active sleeper. Their suggestion of using a pillow between or under the knees to help alleviate this does work if it's comfortable for you using the extra pillow.Cost - it's on the expensive side compared to other pillows on the market. I have not physically tested the others so I cannot say with certainty that it's the best bang for the buck but as I continue to receive restful sleeps it is looking as though money well spent.

This product does its job with acid reflux very well. I have used Medslant in the past with their folding pillow. This product is wider than the other product, it spans across half a queen bed. As to cooling, it is initially cooler when you lay down and to the touch but doesn't sustain that coolness. Don't expect it to help with cooling a hot flash. Haven't yet experienced it in summer temperatures.

I can't say it's a comfortable nights sleep but for someone suffering from untreated sleep apnea it keeps my O2 stats MUCH higher than just sleeping on my mattress which only has a couple inches of incline. Before I had this, building pillow ramps to 'try' and sleep on was my only alternative and pillows are NOT comfortable to sleep on.This wedge pillow is firm enough to keep my head and shoulders elevated. It's nice and wide so I can switch positions fairly easily. It does make me a little sore but if it was any softer it wouldn't do the job needed.

My husband says it's not comfortable.

Too large, very wide and long, felt like it was taking over our king size bed. I had to return it.

I was hoping for the best when I ordered this pillow, but I couldn’t get used to it. I gave it two nights and gave up. I kept sliding down it. My husband tried it for a couple of weeks and also ditched it. We kind of figured out that it was important to get a small travel size pillow to use with it. I purchased a My Pillow travel pillow and that made it more comfortable. Despite everything we did, neither of us could get completely comfortable so we both gave up.Update: my husband gave this another shot and he likes it.

On those nights that my reflux has acted up because of something I ate that day, I know that I need the pillow. This wedge pillow is comfortable and keeps you in a elevated position. The first night I used it, I needed to get used to it. But now, I even use my regular pillow with it. It certainly is better than pilling on pillows or tying to sleep sitting up. I have always slept on my stomach my entire life. I have started having stomach acid issues so thought this might help. While I am not totally used to sleeping on my side now it has been better than I thought. I LOVE the cool feeling from the cover.
