I know it has only three pins? Should I choose dc in bios or pwm?** A: 3 pin is DC. So set that in BIOS and your motherboard should use the 3rd pin to know the RPM of the fan and change the voltage up and down to control the speed. If it's set to PWM on a 3 pin fan it will just get stuck at full speed. **Q: Do you get the screws with it?** A: Your case should come with fan screws. **Q: does the screws come with this product?** A: Yes. Zoom on the image showing the reverse side of the box in the product images, contents 1x fan, 4x screws. Good fan, quiet, simple to fit, plugs into motherboard system fan header, does the job. **Q: Will this run on a 9v adapter? if so will it be 25 percent slower and quieter? its for a diy projector hushbox.** A: Yes it will run on 9v DC don't know how much the speed reduction would be but regarding noise it's very quiet anyway. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helped drop my PC Temperatures by a few degrees *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 30 August 2026* Needed more ventilation in my PC case and bought this - quiet, seems to move quite a lot of air (temperatures are lower since I have added this fan)Also - have bought cheap "no name" fans before and been disappointed with them so bought this branded part to get better quality and so far not disappointed ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 August 2026* Good nice and quiet ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked as PSU fan replacement *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 August 2026* Bought this as a PSU fan replacement, requiring low start up voltage. This fan spun up successfully at approx 3v. So should serve the purpose. Reasonably quiet and hopefully will remain so for some time to come. ## Frequently Bought Together - ARCTIC P12 - PC Fan, 120mm Case Fan, Pressure-optimised, Quiet Motor, Computer, Fan Speed: 1800 RPM - Black - ARCTIC MX-4 (4 g) - Premium Performance Thermal Paste for All Processors (CPU, GPU - PC), Very high Thermal Conductivity, Long Durability, Safe Application, Non-Conductive - G.SKILL Flare X5 Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MT/s CL30-38-38-96 1.35V Desktop Computer Memory UDIMM - Matte Black (F5-6000J3038F16GX2-FX5) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://virgin.desertcart.com/products/91170028-p12](https://virgin.desertcart.com/products/91170028-p12) --- *Product available on Desertcart British Virgin Islands* *Store origin: VG* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
