Great pan and exceptional service
I ordered this due to not only the marketing but mainly due to the amazing reviews this pan was receiving. I must say I have not been disappointed. It's early days but so far I have been impressed with the quality of the pan and the non stick coating which is fab but also the the customer service. Firstly the customer service - On being delivered I excitedly opened the box (sad I know but lockdown has decreased my threshold on these things) to find the lid was dented. I immediately reported it and received immediate apologies and within two days a replacement pan arrived - Brilliant, no quibble, good old fashioned customer service! The pan - Looks and feels great quality. It's not cast iron but still feels built to last and solid with a nice weight. I had an eye rolling moment when I read that dishwasher use was not really recommended - but having used it to cook two good sized Rib Eyes for it's inaugural use, the non stick coating worked brilliantly and though it was covered with oils and cooking residue, it washed so easily I felt positively lazy groaning about it! The steaks cooked brilliantly with lovely sear marks by the way. I'm looking forward to using it loads and am confident this will be the go to pan for loads of different recipes. If you are not used to picking up pans with hot handles then I would recommend the silicone handle protectors for the heat but if you treat it as if it is cast iron, when lifting it and use oven gloves etc you won't have any nasty surprises. My best purchase of the year so far. If you're dithering - don't, just buy it!

Quality Pan
I wanted a griddle that could go in the oven and this dos the trick. The deep ridges mean the scorch marks are very clear so food looks very appetising. Easy to clean, a winner.

Good quality pan
I bought the XL size and have so far used it to cook salmon, steak and sear beef for stew. I find a light coating of oil is all that’s needed for the meat and none at all for salmon. The excess oil in the salmon runs away into the grooves and everything l’ve cooked has a better taste, smells good and looks like a chef has cooked it. The pan is not heavy or difficult to clean, l just boil some water in a kettle and add it to the pan with some washing up liquid to soak before l wash it. There is no temptation to touch the bare metal handles without oven gloves, they are so obviously part of the hot pan. I hesitated before spending what seemed a lot of money on this pan but now l think it is well worth it.

Great pan
Love this whatever pan, great for cooking. A bit trickier getting sauces out as rubbing to the grooves but cooks a great steak and chicken 👍

A versatile and useful kitchen addition
I bought this pan as, while I love my cast iron skillet, it's a little bit small for cooking for the family, and the routine of keeping it clean and seasoned is a pain at times. This seemed like an excellent compromise between a non-stick and cast-iron, and so far it's lived up to expectations. The pan (on my gas hob) heats up quickly and the heat appears to be very uniform across the pan. The surface has been easy to clean so far, and I've fried bacon in it, griddled some veggies and (as pictured) made a mega-cookie using it in the oven, and it's been great for all three. I'm looking forward to trying it out with a decent sized steak. Only drawback is that the handles get *incredibly* hot - silicon protectors are nowhere near sufficient, and you really need a proper pair of thick oven gloves to safely handle it, but that's not really any different from cast iron either, so can't complain too much there. Definitely feels like a solid and useful addition to the kitchen.

Versatile: it’s replaced multiple other pans for me
I got into scratch cooking during lockdown #1, a habit which stuck with me during the brighter days, and is sure to persist through the latest lockdown! Anyway this pan - which I only got at Xmas - has been a godsend. Of all the varied meals I make, pretty much every one can be made using this pan. I’ve also doubled it up as a roasting tin, too, and it works really well in that way. I griddle, fry, simmer, sauté, roast, etc., all with this one pan. I’ve packed my old George Foreman grill away, as I now prefer to grill sausages, chicken breasts, etc. in the Whatever Pan. I’ve probably used it about 12 times since Xmas, and it’s only 08/01/20! I’ve used it more than once per day, on occasion. It’s compact in size, but we’re only a 2-person household, so perfect for us. Works great on a gas hob (can’t speak for other types), but be warned that the handles get EXTREMELY hot - like as hot as the pan itself. So I use it in conjunction with a hardy oven glove. It’s not TOO difficult to clean. Anyone who’s regularly used a George Foreman - for example - will find it much easier to clean. Due to the ridges, it’s not suitable for frying eggs, cooking omelettes, etc. So I do have to keep a small standard frying pan handy for these tasks. Other than that, I naturally reach for the Whatever Pan every time I cook.

Versatile pan
Sturdy pan, cooks meat well and can be transferred to the oven so quite versatile. Beware the handles get very hot so you have to be vigilant and I have purchased the silicone covers for the handles.

Efficace
Produit arrivé en bon état et rapidement, même si Amazon m'avait indiqué un problème à l'expédition. Cuit bien les aliments en laissant le gras au fond. Top Produit pour le prix.

Cooking Perfection
Excellent indoor “Grill” pan. Just the right depth, leaves perfect grill marks no mater what you’re cooking, easy cleanup, and it goes in the oven! You can also use any type of utensil without worrying whether you’re going to scratch your pan and ruin it; use the metal spatula if you want - the pan is virtually indestructible. The value of this pan for what you pay for it, is off the charts. Buy it. Buy two. Buy them as gifts for those you love.

Quality construction. Exceptional non-stick
No, it’s not cheap. But it’s a QUALITY piece of cookware and the non-stick finish is fantastic. I’ve used it several times on my induction range with zero issues. Yes, the handles get hot — the instructions tell you so. I ordered the silicone “grips” for it but the seller is in the UK and it appears the shipping service is incapable of getting these to Canada. I ordered them over a month ago and still nothing. Instead I just use my Ove Gloves with no problems.

La base no es 100% inducción
Compré el tamaño grande para que detectara el fuego grande de inducción y resulta que el fabricante ha recortado en la base el diámetro que detecta la inducción (ver foto) Un desastre!
