Sony Stereo Bluetooth Headset SBH60

WOW! I was a little on the negative side when I choose to buy these, I am a HUGE SONY fan and i LOVE everything they make but when it comes to headphones I don't know how to gauge Sony. I have bought the expensive $400.00 ones and the cheap $20.00 ones and everything in between. Some are great sound for the money other are just ... well I returned if they sound like crap or feel uncomfortable wearing them for hours (head sweats from large headphones covering the whole ear). I purchased these because I like the look of the design not know what they will sound like I just figured they would sound cheap and like listening to music in a tin can as I had experienced on other Sony head set designed like this one. When I put them on and connected it to my Walkman (yes I still use a Walkman) and played some music with a heavy bass I was blown away by the RICH DEEP SOUND, no distortion or vibration you get in the ear cups from deep base. I have been wearing them for a few hours now and the music is clear and perfectly balanced with base and treble and very comfortable on the head still after hours of use. The BEST part is they are Bluetooth so you have up to 10 hours of freedom of cords BUT if the battery is dead you can use the cord just like regular wired headphones which I love with my big BT headset I paid $400 for but this is small and portable and easy to adjust and wear for hours. These are definitely going with me on my trip to Germany this Christmas. Did I mention they are SONY which means they are a flawless design! Thank you SONY You make my listening complete.

Good sound, light weight, comfortable, easy to use. Use as a headset for phone calls can be a little tricky as sound is not as loud and clear as some other headsets I've used but this one is completely usable. My voice was more audible if I simply held my hand up to where the microphone was as if I was holding a phone and spoke up just a little bit more. I just got them and so far I'm very pleased. Too bad it took over a month to get here though. REVIEW UPDATE: I have updated my review to 5 stars for the following reasons. Sound quality continues to amaze. Bass and treble response is great! Bass is more heavily weighted but not overly and for me, this is a positive characteristic. These are not noise canceling headphones by any means, but the outside sound isolation is fantastic. I'm writing this right now listening to rock music at a reasonable 1/4 volume level in a large cafeteria full of noisy children and I barely hear them at all. This is great for me in this situation but if you need to maintain situational awareness, these headphones will not work for you. I am strongly considering purchasing a second set just to have on hand in case my current pair becomes lost or damaged so I'll have them even after Sony discontinues them!

The sound was fantastic for how compact these were. I have a few higher-end models from Sony and AT, and I can't say that these Sony's fall behind in any category. Especially without an amp, which is probably how most people are going to use a BT headset. Some on-ear headphones fit unevenly, but these were undeniably the most comfortable on-ears I have used. I'd certainly recommend these to anyone. They are great for travel, the gym (I very much prefer bluetooth headphones here), even laying in bed where they were comfortable enough to fall asleep while wearing. In my pair, the left headphone broke and sounded terrible after a couple days. I sure hope this isn't a chronic problem for these headphones and that it's an isolated incident. I am going to miss this pair and would still recommend them to anyone looking for a good BT headphone, at least as long as I don't see other incidents where they stop working.

A sleeper! I had been looking for good quality BT headphones for along time when I stumbled upon these in one of my searches. They are exactly what I had been looking for: good quality sound; simple, pleasing design; and a reasonable price. I use these with my laptop, and I could not be more pleased. I am no audiophile, but I know good sound when I hear it, and this set delivers just that. The user manual was very sparse: just basic illustrations on how to get started. However, a more detailed user manual can be downloaded from the Sony website, which I did easily.... All in all, This is an excellent product that is well made and delivers what it promises. I recommended it highly.

I would have given them 5 stars. The sound is just amazing, the headphones are very sleek and stylish. I had no problem pairing them with my iPhone and they are working great. The only complaint I have is that the headphones I received are scratched in several parts, as in the pictures. I didn't expect to receive a scratched item, so that takes away two stars. I hope their customer support resolves the issue, in which case I will update my review and bump the stars up to 5, which is what the product itself deserves. Otherwise, we all know how bad customer service can take away from the desirability of a potentially good product.

awesome headphone. i absolutely love it. the standby time is good and the sound quality is awesome unlike the other premium headphone in the market, the headband is thin but robust and it does not feel awkward to be seen wearing in public

This is the best bluetooth headset I've ever tried, for listening to music. Super light and super comfortable, the headset fits very well on the ears, and the sound is great. Controls are easy to use. Though they aren't a sport model, I bought them specifically for running, and they excel for that use - they beat the pants off every "sport" bluetooth I've ever tried. They stay on much better (especially for someone like me who has small ears, which many models that hook on and go in-ear just can't accommodate effectively) with no flopping or tugging. The bluetooth connection also holds up much better than the connection on the "sport" versions. The only reason these didn't get 5 stars, is that like most bluetooth headsets, you will get some cut-outs. However, they are much less of a problem, as I noted above, than with the others I've tried.

Cuffie davvero eccellenti: nell'aspetto e materiali, suono, tasti fisici... peccato che sul mio z5 compact non diano il meglio di sè, sicuro per colpa del cellulare però. Infatti ascoltando la musica e usando alcune app contemporaneamente, va a scatti. Quattro stelle per il cellulare quindi ^^" edit: da quattro a cinque stelle! E' bastato fare un ripristino del cellulare e ora, con tutte le app necessarie installate, le cuffie sono perfette. Rapporto qualità/prezzo altissimo.

Rien à dire, c'est du Sony et le produit tient toutes ses promesses. Le casque est léger, confortable, le son est de très bonne qualité. Je l'utilise pour écouter de la musique via Spotify sur mon Nexus 6p, la connexion en bluetooth s'est réalisée de manière transparente (j'aurais pu aussi bien choisir NFC par ailleurs). Du côté audio téléphone, la qualité est aussi au rendez-vous. Les commandes de pilotage de la musique sont intuitives (augmentation ou baisse du volume, mise en pause de la musique). Dernier point et non des moindres, le rapport qualité/prix, assez remarquable! Ça faisait longtemps que je cherchais ce type de casque, et franchement je ne suis pas déçu. Merci Sony.

No se cuantos miles de años los tengo ya y siguen funcionando de lujo. Las almohadillas ya están bastante gastadas pero lo raro sería que no. Buen diseño, buen sonido, buen precio. Son adaptables, la batería dura lo suyo y aíslan muy bien. Los recomiendo muchísimo.

Superb clarity of sound with Bluetooth ( ! ) Headset. I just love it. Of course I am satisfied.

I purchased these twice now when on sale at £30 - and at that price they are unbeatable. The sound is nice and clear and they connect easily with a good range. If you like clearer sounding headphones rather than headphones with a lot of over-powering bass, then you will be pleased with these. The vocal clarity means they are very good for podcasts and audiobooks. They are very comfortable and because they are light can be worn for long periods. The on/off button is tiny and hard to find, see and use. Think twice if you are buying these for an older person or someone who might struggle with a barely visible very small button that has to be pressed down with a finger nail. This is a button that tries my patience and I have not reached 50. I would have much preferred a simple sliding switch. Apart from buttons Sony always seem to do it right - and you know when you get good reviews by users on the leading companies that they are all genuine reviews - as quality companies like Sony don't give out free samples to purchase reviews. Amazon is full of poor electrical products with good reviews - but these are good quality.
