what grit number is the rough side?

► Thank you for your question! The remos Diamond nail file has a very rough side and a medium side. Diamond nail files are difficult to classify in terms of grain size, as they are technically different from, for example, sandpaper or plastic nail files with silicon carbide. In addition, diamond grains are sharper than silicon carbide grains. But you can say more or less: Very rough - about 80-100 grit Medium: - approximately grain 150-180

I have very weak fingerr nails. Always splitting and peeling. Is this a good file for this type of nail?

The remos diamond nail files are very gentle to the nails, but for very sensitive nails we recommend using glass nail files. Available with us in 2 different sizes: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004NO30EC?ref=myi_title_dp and https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07J3JZV11?ref=myi_title_dp
