NOW Supplements, Bromelain 2,400 GDU/g - 500 mg, 60 Veg Caps

I bought this to take along with arnica to help with bruising. I bruise easily and sometimes they take forever to go away. I find that the combo of this with arnica really does seem to help! I have bought other supplements from this company and I do like their products. Highly recommend.

I bought this because I’d been battling PLC for about 6 years and finally came across a Reddit thread talking about how a study found Bromelain to be effective at helping heal PLC. Mind you, this is my own personal experience and not medical advice- I took two pills per day and saw significant improvement in the look of my skin. It didn’t resolve entirely, but it did help me understand that if I want to have any hope of this going away then it really is my gut health that I need to focus on. There was no weird taste or smell, I didn’t have any issues with digesting it, if anything it supported digestion which is something I’ve struggled with since having my gallbladder out in 2012. In my experience this is a high quality product and is a great value for the money. I will be getting this again as I overhaul my diet.

I bought this for a recent surgery. I can't really say whether it helped or not because I did have a lot of inflammation and it did stay a while. I started this before the surgery, too. I took twice a day.

So in December 2020 I had MAJOR Sinus issues with the worst sinus inflammation I’ve ever had (in my right nose) I get sinus issues around that time every year for the past few years and I tried EVERYTHING!! This time I went to 2 different Dr.‘a and got 2 shots by one (1 was a steroid shot) and got prescribed steroid pills TWICE by both Dr.‘s for sinus inflammation but the inflammation in my right nose (my sinuses) did not go away! It was extremely frustrating! Usually shots work but not that time! So I did some research and ran across a post naming vitamins that help sinus inflammation and I bought these and other vitamins! But this is the vitamin that healed me and cleared up my Sinus inflammation! I had lost my sense of smell and taste due to the sinus inflammation, I had sooo much pressure I could barely talk or eat. I had throbbing headaches, I did saline nasal washes and that helped cleared up the mucus but didn’t get rid of the inflammation! My nose was full of so much pressure it would leak. By far the worst sinuses I’ve ever had in my life! It made me cry a lot! In February 2021 I got the pills and took them immediately 2x per day! A few weeks later in March 2021 the Bromelain vitamins got rid of that inflammation in my sinuses, my right nose. While taking them my right nose would throb and leak constantly (in a good way! The inflammation was clearing up!) That’s how I knew it was working. And I was able to breathe out of my right nose for the first time in months! (since early December 2020) it just happened day by day. It’s September 2021 and my sense of smell still isn’t back 100% and my sense of taste is still working on slowly going back to normal because of how INTENSE my sinuses were, my sinuses were so bad the worst it’s ever been but these pills saved me from going to a ENT and saved me lots of money. I wish I took them earlier like back in December. I also came back for another bottle because I loved it so much!

These photos were taken 3 days apart. At 10 days post op I still had horrible bruising that had stayed the same for nearly a week. I was taking Arnica regularly but it didn’t seem to make a difference. I decided to purchase this for swelling, but somehow it made a night and day difference in my bruising! The photos are 3 days apart - a HUGE difference after seeing no progress for a week. So happy!

I take these whenever I have swelling or bruising. They work well.

I take Bromelain for my inflammation and paid and it helps me a lot as long as I take it consistently. I consider it more effective than pain meds. As far as I can tell it has no oder. I think Now brand supplements are some of the best quality you can buy. These don't affect my appetite at all or have any side effects and are easy to swallow. These are also some of the best strength you can get as far as Bromelain goes.
