This is a great product. I thought it was going to be a hassle but it was very easy. Had to buy a couple of extra things to do the job properly. They only cost an extra £6.00 direct from the firm. The instructions are easy to follow. There is also a YouTube video you can watch before you start. Just to get things straight in your mind. The finished job looks great. Make sure you clean the glass thoroughly before you start though. There is a slight haze once the fime is in place. This has died out in a week. I did have a couple of questions to ask once it had been fitted. I got a prompt reply from my email regarding this. So the after sale service is just as good as the product. Now the film has dried out I can hardly tell its on. All in all, a fab product. I was using this film on my summerhouse. Four windows each of which was 0.5 X 1.5 meters. It took me about 2 hours from start to finish. This included reading the instructions and watching the video. Take your time with it and you shouldn't have any problems. Make sure you have all the right tools at hand for the job though.

Like most other reviews, it does what it's meant to do, even if it's fiddly to use. Using sticky tape on the corner as directed works really well for separating the main film from the protective layer.

Once you get the hang of putting it on it is pretty straightforward pushing all the air bubbles out, Start with a small window first, make sure you clean the window well

Really easy to put on but only given a 3 as I don't know if it would work if glass smashed externally? I don't want to test it!

Takes alot to make it break

If you have the patience to apply this to your windows then it works well. If your windows have been in sometime I would recommend that you use a stanley blade scraper with soapy water to remove bits of old paint and other hard to shift detritus otherwise the plastic will always look bubbly. My second tip is to always apply the soapy water to the plastic sheet immediately after you have cut it to size on the floor otherwise if a small breeze catches it it will stick together and you will never get it apart without permanent creases. I feel more secure now because scum robbers are brazenly throwing bricks through patio windows rather than popping locks even when you have a house alarm - cat burglars are thing of the past.

Preparation and planning when installing, I did neither and it's done the job. Do take your time and follow the instructions.

Impossible to cut straight due to the backing paper being as clear as the product. No guide lines for accurate cutting. Looks TERRIBLE on the windows making them look dirty and unkempt. Impossible to get all the bubbles and water marks out. Avoid.
