how do you know the size,from wrist to longest finger i am 8 and a half inches if that any help

I have measured my hand and am slightly less than than 8.5 inches. I have just tried my gloves on again and they seem right for me for gardening etc. I ordered large so depending on how you plan to use them you may find medium quite a 'close fit'. Not sure that helps you much? Good luck. S.
