Hooded Cape for Adults | Men's Cloak with Hood for Halloween Cosplay Costume

It's warmer than I thought it would be when I was looking at it online. It's very well put together. Comfy. And soft. Perfect for a dress casual evening. Or for dressing up! Could wear outside on a chilly evening.

I got this to round out my rienassance faire outfit, and it was perfect! The color, light blue, is as pictured, and the material is heavenly soft. It's perfect for summer outfits as lightweight and helps me stay cooler in the warmer weather, with a corset, boots, and floor-length skirt. I also loved the light blue because as a kid I was obessed with Ella Enchanted and it reminds me so much her her own cloak.

I am a tall woman with a 35" inseam, so I chose to order a men's cloak to go with my Rhaenyra costume for Halloween. I'm glad I did. It dragged a little, but that's what I wanted; people didn't hem their regal garments in medieval times! It was a little hard to keep it from sliding up in the front where it hooked, so sometimes it felt like it was choking me, if I was sitting down moving around too much (i.e. reaching & handing out candy from our pavilion tent. It also slid off to the side a lot if I was moving around too much. All in all, I would buy it again, but I would know ahead of time to find a way to secure that front clasp so it doesn't ride up or sideways.

I have several capes and cloaks and when I read this one was unlined my expectations were very low based on past experience - especially considering the price. It’s light weight but lovely! It’s also bigger than a typical cape this price. I’m 5’4” and a size 12/14 and the cape was plenty long enough even in heels and covered my shoulders well.

My daughter used this for making a Princess Kenny costume and loves it. Feels of good enough quality for the purpose and price. *We did alter it by adding more faux fur to the bottom so ignore that in the photo as this cape does NOT come with that.

All in all, it’s a decent cape for the price. The one thing that made me rate it lower was that it leaves little fuzzies everywhere. I ordered a red cape to wear with a black dress as Little Red Riding Hood. By the end of the day, my black dress was covered in res fuzzies.

I used this cape as part of a Fairy Godmother (Cinderella 1950) costume and it was a total hit. I'm 5'5" and it was floor length on me so I had it taken up a bit to match with my dress . The seamstress even thought it was wonderful fabric and I believe she held onto the scraps. It was a good weight for mildly cool weather, a velveteen texture, and exactly the color pictured. I only wish I'd been able to find a robe this pretty.
