Good puzzle. Not so smooth at first but gets better after some time

First off, I should mention that every puzzle of this type has centers of rotation; on a 3x3x3 cube, it is the center face, and on a pyraminx, it is the vertices (corners). This design usually rotates on vertices as well. I already have a stickerless lily cube that rotates on four non-adjacent corners. The design of this puzzle allows for rotation at all eight vertices of the cube, and also allows all pieces to travel, thus creating a highly unstable and complex puzzle. The stickers don't seem to be of great quality, and cuz of this, I may scramble or "solve" this to a pleasant pattern and leave it on display. Stickerless puzzles are superior for regular use, IMO, so I will likely look into getting one of those in this style in the future. The build of this puzzle is good otherwise. Action in this puzzle design is not very good, and this cube offers no improvements; but it still works as well as expected.

I wanted to love this one but it’s hard to turn because there are so many cuts, and so many pieces in motion, so it kind of collapses under your fingers and the amount of pressure needed to turn the corner. Several of the stickers are noticeably crooked/off center which is a visual pet peeve... but enough of one that I don’t even want to keep the puzzle as a collection piece. Disappointed. Will be returning for a more stable/playable design.

If you like the original Rubik's Cube and just wanted something a little bit different, you should be happy with this cube design as well. Like the original, it has nine faces per side that you have to match up by color by rotating the different segments around. It's not harder or easier to solve than the original, it just looks a bit different and twists a little differently. The build quality of this is good, and the segments turn easily. I still can't solve it, but just playing with it is half the fun.

This was the winning stocking stuffer for our family in 2025. Captivating and challenging but not impossible. Happy I bought this.

If you've got a friend that loves rubix cubes this may be present for them as it'll cause them to have to work out a new system. It's a bit pricey for what it is and the turns are a bit harder to do than a regular rubix cube.

Much more challenging (at least to me) than a standard cube. Taking one star off because it doesn't include a solution guide.
