Pest Free, Fast Shipping, Great Packaging.
Arrived on time, ( 2 days from purchase). The plant came in a small box and was (vacuum?)sealed within another bag that was inflated. I am very thankful that this much packaging and though went into this shipment.I chose a tissue culture plant to help minimize the risks of pests, particularly snails, and after a quick examination under a microscope at 96x - 900x, I could not see anything large enough to be even remotely concerned about. The root system of the plants were thick, and in a type of (agar?) that smelled a bit like alcohol-less hand sanitizer, which is probably an anti-bacterial/fungal gel to give the live tissue culture a better chance of growing. The package came with an instructional manual with details in regards to the plant, which I would have found very helpful if I didn't know anything about it.I did an immediate Immersion (fully underwater) in my fishtank, in less than 24 hrs of arrival, and NONE have died 3 days later.I do however do a liquid CO2 supplement in my tank, to help beat the odds. The plants are growing in a medium - high level tank (aquasky led fixture).

So they're not all bad. But
So.. Maybe I misread something, but I thought this was grown from tissue cultures. Because of that, I was a bit less thorough in my cleaning process before planting. Within a few days, baby snails were spotted. They have since grown and I am battling to keep their numbers in check. This is the only plant...or anything.. I've added in a very long time. So there is no other explanation for the introduction of pond snails to my tank. However, it is partially my fault for not being as thorough. Also...they have really cleaned up plant debris quickly. So they're not all bad. But....I have a war on my hands because I do not want them in a betta tank because bettas like to sleep on the bottom of the tank and I. The plants. Makes me worry.Aside from the snails, the plant arrived healthy and as described. The normal death occurred shortly after planting but there is new growth going on now.

will buy more
well what a shock when i found out you can buy aquatic plants on amazon! i thought it was well packaged and handled right, on arrival it was as lush and green as the picture, same size too. followed the guide to the tee and this deal would have been perfect if it wasn't for my darn turtle eating and tearing up the grass.it was a perfect fit for my 30 gallon tall tank but even cutting large sections of the grass (1/2 in by1/2 in) and setting it in the substrate very well he would dig it up all too often and eventually ate most of it and the rest was shredded.long story short it looked natural, it looked good and would do fine with just fish and actually does grow at a noticeable speed. i put mine in some simple pebble base and some florescent lighting and it was good.

My first live plant!
I'm in the process of changing my 30 gallon tank to live plants. Of course I started with the Dwarf Hairgrass. They are doing wonderfully! I say "they" as I split up the specimen into about 10 little plants. They've been planted for over two weeks now and are hardy. No spreading yet but all is still green so they will.

Worth the money!
Product was packaged well and had a heating pack underneath. The grass was very healthy and green! I read online it’s best to have small sections of grass spread throughout your tank and that’s what I did. There was plenty of grass, I covered almost the entire bottom of my 20 gallon long tank with sections from just one package. I definitely recommend!

It’s not bad
The grass is ok I’ve seen better but when it was delivered the heat pack was still in its package and it wasn’t activated to keep it warm.

Nice DHG
Arrived sooner than expected. Great packaging containing plant and care info as well as a heating pad to keep the winter cold of of the DHG. The grass itself is about 2-3 inches high and nicely green. To give an idea of the amount, I have a 55 gal bow front tank, and I'd guess this takes up about a third of the tank flow when planted properly (Dime sized clumps an inch apart).I'll upgrade my review to 5 stars once I see the longevity of the plants. I know not all plants will make it in all tanks, but they will need to pass the emersion test.

A little grass for a bigger price
So this is my first time buying any aquarium plants on Amazon. Shipping was faster than I expected which was nice. But when I opened the box, I was really shocked at the size of the container and how small it was. Other reviews seem to picture bigger containers of grass and longer greenery. The grass was very green and healthy, so that is a plus. But the amount received for the price is what I am disappointed in.
