Welcome to your nightmare. I’m going to share my experience so you don’t have to experience the hell I went through. In Jan, 2024 I had a major infestation. I knew I had some in my closet in the past. I had sealed all my cloths with moth balls for 2weeks then washed them all. Clothes moths are a misnomer. They will lay their eggs everywhere. I ended up with them all over my house, even in my refrigerator, inside my dishwasher panel, inside my ice dispenser, everywhere. I transferred them mostly by storing my infested carpet shampooer in different rooms. I didn’t know it was infested. I tried freezing my clothes then washing them again. Tried cleaning with vinegar. So what worked, SLA spray and heating EVERYTHING in the oven. I put everything in aluminum roasting pans for 30 min at 170 degrees, clothes, electronics, medication, lamps, etc. If it fit, it went into the ovens (luckily I have double oven house). If it didn’t fit it got sprayed down with SLA. It took me a month to get them stopped. I put everything into plastic bags after I heated it or sprayed it. I steamed my carpets and sprayed sla. For those worried about its safety, if it was going to harm you I should be dead. I went through 15+ cans. However, I don’t have any breathing problems. I did use a respirator when I sprayed, most of the time. Fast forward to April, 2025. I had not seen any moths or signs of moths for over a yr. I got some files out of a fire safe in my closet and left the lid open. I had not cleaned or sprayed inside the safe bc I heated the keys and couldn’t find them. I thought it was water tight so I wasn’t worried about it. I sprayed the outside and bottom. Then I saw the burgundy eggs on the inside lid after about a month of leaving it open. I had used several files out of there and unfortunately had them in my office and bedroom. I now have started the heating/spraying process over again. I’m not taking any chances. The damn moths were living in those paper files. I want to scream and cry. They can live up to 2 1/2 yrs if conditions aren’t favorable for a normal life cycle. Things I learned: Clean, spray and heat everything. The eggs are a burgundy snotty looking blob or can be a single burgundy spec. The traps didn’t do much for me. With that major infestation I only saw 4 trapped. I had to tear my beds down, look under the bed skirt. They supposedly like the dark but I had them lay eggs on a lamp that was on most of the time. They don’t remove easily. Wiping something down will miss them. They can even be on the walls. Heating items works. It kills adults/larvae and dries up the eggs. FYI, 180 degrees is too hot. I burned a few items. Everything tolerated 170 degrees(lowest my ovens would go). I had a few warped plastic bottles but no harm. I put my iPhone in, dvd players, disc, even pictures, no problems with them. The SLA works on all stages. It is a lifesaver, well maybe just a sanity saver. You have to clean like you are in the cleaning Olympics. Don’t forget to cleaN/heat everything. I won’t forget that anytime soon. What a hellish nightmare. I now have on my calendar to spray after 3 months. That’s how long the spray lasts. I am so thankful for SLA. Good luck, be aggressive or they will get out of control. Moths are the dandelions of the insect world; they just won’t go away. Thank you SLA for your product.

Works well. I did everything but this was the only thing that killed off the remaining few that the steamer, vacuuming, and vinegar mix missed. About two weeks after application and i now don’t see any more flying around. Pair this with a zevo and some pheromone traps and you will be happy.

The best bug spray ever. I lightly spray baseboards every month or so. No bugs. If a bug gets in, the spray kills bugs immediately.

I can’t speak to the effectiveness yet because I just sprayed it the other night, however I can say that some of the other reviews about how wretchedly toxic this is seem a bit (read: very) exaggerated. My original plan—after putting on all of my PPE, opening every window in the apartment in the middle of winter, and turning on every fan I own, based on what other reviewers said—was to just spray my brand new wool rug in order to prevent carpet beetles (my friend had them and it was disgusting, so I’m paranoid). Once I started spraying and basically smelled NOTHING, I started spraying more of the apartment (in I’m Manhattan and I’ve seen the occasional critter in this building...), which then turned into spraying every thing/place I could possibly imagine might harbor a bug one day. I should add that I have two younggggg children, so I did some Googling somewhere along the way and checked out the ACTUAL toxicity (to humans) based on ACTUAL research and this product is totally fine and nowhere close to as “dangerous” as everyone is panicking about. Unless you’re a bug. I hope. Note: I have no pets, just kids, so I can’t speak to that. I’ll update if anything substantial happens due to my use of this product, but don’t hold your breath!

When a neighbor across the hall moved in, bringing moths, it became a nightmare come true for me. My aunt who previously stayed in the Condo I am in still had a closet full of yarn, and of course, as time went past, they found their way into the house. For about 3-4 months, they slowly appeared and eventually I would see 4-5 a day. I got to the point where most readers may be: “these things are driving me crazy, and I can’t take it anymore.” The moths had made it into my couch, cat beds, and carpets, and I was officially INSANE about these critters. Genshin impact had just dropped a moth boss, and apex legends dropped a moth themed character, so I genuinely felt like the world was mocking me (LOL) I tried traps, hanging and regular, cedar blocks, and even cedar spray, but although they deterred the moths, they always returned. That was when I came across this!! I sealed the closet with yarn off (w/ mothballs) and washed all of the clothes. After spraying this the first time, I could immediately see the moths panicking due to the smell in each room, which helped me locate where they were hiding. I killed them off as they fluttered, and doubled down on those spots to kill larvae. This spray recommends not to be used around cats, but mine were fine. I would recommend keeping them out the room during application. In only 4 days of using this (all crevices and spots for 4 days straight), my problem had completely disappeared and it has been 3 weeks since I’ve last seen a moth. The smell is not bad, and is WAY better than most sprays, but I recommend buying cedar lavender spray alongside this as it makes it much more pleasant and leaves another scent they don’t like. I sprayed carpets, clothes, and all, and had no issue at all (given I wash the clothes before wearing). As mentioned earlier, it causes them to panic, so you will absolutely see movement during the first applications. WATCH WHERE THEY RUN AND SPRAY MORE. As someone who was introduced to a living hell due to these creatures, I strongly urge you to buy THIS PRODUCT!!! The others will kill males, and make them redirect their approach to mating, but this is designed to murder them, kill eggs, and make THEIR life hell. WHO’S YOUR DADDY NOW?!?!

Works well for mothproofing woolen items. Convenient & easy to use.

A waste of time and money. Before I purchased this, I saw one review where the person said that they sprayed the moth only to watch it take off and fly away once its' wings dried. I thought that was an exaggeration until I witnessed the same thing myself. The manufacturer should be sued and Amazon should be ashamed of themselves for allowing it to be sold on their site.

I spray this around the baseboards and works as if professional did it. Kills roaches, ants , everything. Cannot recommend enough.
