As a family we have been really enjoying this tool. Although we have not yet attached it to a phone for pictures yet my kids are living the new things they can see with it. We have spent time looking at the moon & stars and all kinds of animals around the neighborhood. We have now put it in the car and are going to check out the bald eagles. It’s good quality and has a nice weight to it and very easy to use.

Scope was nice over-all. The zoom feature was not as good as I had hoped for. Based on other reviews, maybe I was not using it correctly or it had an issue. Either way, I did return it and received great support from customer service!

Inaccurate description. Objective lens states 50mm, more like 40mm. If you measure to outside of housing you do come up with 50mm. I measured an expensive pair of Pentax Binoculars I have. They state 42mm. If you measure inside the housing it is exactly 42mm. Bullet point description states field of view, 419/1000. If you look at bottom of page, that states 325/1000. Product it self seems very nicely made. They just need to get specs correct.

The monocular is beautifully designed and the image is sharp. Lenses are wide and clear. The magnification is excellent. I can see long distances very well with them. Birds and animals are always in clear focus. I expect that this monocular will take my outdoor experience to a new level. One thing does not fit for my purpose is the weight. I wish it could be lighter. Now I keep it in my car and expect any beautiful view with it.

I gave this as a gift for a friend who's an experienced outdoor photographer...and it was a disappointment! There were no instructions on how to attach it to the iPhone, and it was difficult to set up. Once setup ( after having to remove the protective case on the cellphone), it became difficult to use in the field..clunky and difficult to carry and hold. Not useful in the field. I was upset and embarrassed by my giving this gift and do not recommend it. I would get it back and return it if I knew how to return.

Good idea but want stay on phone. Can end up with broken phone

It's what I was looking for except doesn't really work for my galaxy Note because of the camera is in the center and not off to the side so makes it a little difficult to use.

This Monocular Telescope for Smartphone is very good. I took several pictures with it and they came out with very good quality. Even if I don’t use it to take pictures, I use it to scan the horizon. It’s not as powerful as a 10 X 42 binocular, but it serves me well.
