Does this light system work well for lighting for video conferencing too ?

No. The light is directed downwards and will not light your face (if that's what you mean).

I have a 34inch ultrawide curved monitor. Will it fit that? If you're not sure, could I get it and return it (for free) if it doesn't?

I got this yesterday after reading some of the questions - I have a 34" curved ultrawide and this sits just fine. You just need to angle the bar slightly further out to avoid catching the edges of the monitor. Other than that, it works perfectly

Does it fit an iMac (most recent design)?

One review I found on youtube showed it fitted successfully to a recent iMac. It fitted well and seemed to work fine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpXqXJDSGJU

What is the warranty like on this product?

I use Amazon's warranty service and have had two good results on items purchased through them. Otherwise the BenQ webstore has an enquiry button. I have two of these lights and they work beautifully
