No. It’s a beanie with a little hole in top if you have a pony tail to poke through. Not a neck tube

Hi, I’m sorry you got some daft responses: there are two ways of making a hat. 1. (The nicer looking one, but uses up more material, thus produces a shorter hat): turn tube inside out, twist it once in the middle, fold the top half down (so you get to see the pattern), and voila, here’s your hat. 2. (Slightly dorkier looking, but makes a bigger hat): simply tie a small not in the top to close the opening (this leaves you with a little sausage end, like you get on a balloon, if your mum’s head isn’t too sensitive after chemo, you can turn it inside out first and tie the knot to be worn on the inside, but some people who’ve had chemo, or even just alopecia can’t stand the irritation this causes on their heads.) Will this hat fit a 58.5cm head without being tight?

I can’t be sure, but it is quite ‘stretchy’ material- and a lovely hat!

Is there any with a built in fringe ?

Not that I am aware of. I purchased my fringe from hairdresser/wig shop for £10

Fit for purpose

Love this

I don't wear it as a hat. I use it as a funky neck warmer. I have a brightly coloured one, which I love so much I bought another in black and white. It's warm and looks great.

Quality material well made slouchy

Purchased this for my wife, she says it’s brilliant for windy days to use as a topper, allowing the ears and neck to be protected from the wind. It’s been a hit with her as she also is able to use as a face mask if she needs to pop into a store and as a neck warmer. The material is plenty stretchy enough to allow it to easily be used but not to stretchy to be slack and move around or fall down once in position. This was just one of the many designs that’s available and it’s been such a great success with the misses that I’ll probably order different designs
