My puzzle is conserved!
This product worked very well. It was very easy to apply over the surface of my puzzle, dried in a reasonable amount of time, and kept everything in place as I put it into a frame. There were a few spots that came out heavier than others, but if you pay attention and smooth them out quickly, all will end well.

Easy
I was cautious about ordering this. I had never glued puzzles before. I did a lot of research about this and other products before ordering. I really wanted to save the butterfly puzzle and hang it up, so I tried this as it looked pretty simple. It was very simple! You have to make sure to rinse the sponge after each use. She. You are doing the front, it's hard to see where you have done already. However, there is a wet looking glisten to watch for. Once you get the hang of it, it's extremely easy. It works great! Even on my son's Angry Bird puzzles which are really thick. I wasn't sure it would work on them, but it did. I will keep this on hand for all our puzzles! I recommend this to anyone. Especially with kids, it's so easy they can do it. Please supervise them though.

Does what it says
It is glue with a sponge top. I went over the face of my puzzle multiple times because I didn't adequately get it down all the cracks. Does not damage the surface. Also tried it on the back but surface was too porous. I could definitely do more than one puzzle with one bottle.

Defective or just plain bad?
My bottle must have been defective. I would only get very little to come out with pumping, which was not enough to fill any gaps. I can hear a lot of liquid in the bottle but sadly barely anything releases on pump. I have tried several coatings with this despite the circumstances and the puzzle never stuck. I originally assumed that perhaps a 2000 piece puzzle might be too weighty of the strength pf the glue but I know realize the issue was just the amount of glue in general. I might look into opening the bottle myself and scraping small coats on without ruining the puzzle

Pretty good product but...
While the adhesive ultimately did make most of the pieces stick it took several roll ons to get it to stick. I applied it to a 1000 piece puzzle but took quite a bit of time to get most of the pieces to stick. I had to apply it so much that some parts of the printing of the puzzle began to peel in some areas. The adhesive does do what it’s supposed to but depending on how big of a puzzle you have can vary on how long it takes to finally get most of the pieces together. What’s great about this is that it’s hardly messy and even though it can take quite a while depending on the size piece you have does ultimately do the job.

advice for using this glue
It's taking me 1 1/2 bottles to do a 5000-piece Ravensburger puzzle. It dries completely invisible, even after lots of coats, and it glues the puzzle well enough that I'll be able to flip it over and glue the back to paper after I glue the front. The puzzle looks as good as it did before I started gluing. Advice: (1) Don't press too hard while you are spreading the glue, because you'll tear up the sponge against the opening in the bottle. Instead, hold the bottle in one spot, press down and SQUEEZE the bottle to make stuff come out, and then sponge it over the puzzle without pushing down. (2) Make sure you squeeze glue into the cracks on the first coat. You don't want a film to form over the cracks on the first coat, because then you're not going to get enough in there in later coats. (3) Avoid soaking the outside edges (the border of the puzzle), because they will rumple a little bit if they get too wet, so try not to let glue slosh over the side onto the edges of the border pieces. I am happy with the glue because of how the puzzle looks after gluing, but I'm also going to reinforce it from the back side.

Cat Proof
This product works. How do I know? 1. Puzzle is assembled 2. Puzzle conserver glue is liberally applied 3. Glue dries 4. The kid’s cat takes a nap on puzzle 5. Something startles the cat 6. Cat freaks out and bolts 7. Puzzle flies off the table 8. Puzzle hits the wall 9. Puzzle lands on floor in a balled up heap It held. Seriously. Not a single piece separated. We just picked it up, flattened it out, and that was that. So yeah…this stuff is great. Cats? Not so much.

3d printing bed adhesive: excellent
I bought this not for puzzle conservation, but in the hopes that it would be a watery PVA-based glue that would work for glass bed prep for 3d printing. I can't say for sure that it's a PVA glue, as there are no ingredient statements on the bottle, but as a bed prep / adhesive for 3d printing it works really well. The bottle has a built in valve and sponge, so you just shake vigorously, press and squeeze to get some glue in the sponge, and use the sponge to spread it over the bed. None of the hassle of applying a glue stick and then trying to get it evenly spread with a wet rag, since the glue is already watery. The sponge allows easy application of a thin layer, and it dries thin and clear.

More than one coat may be needed
Does well, the applicator is good and easy to use but find that puzzle needs more than one coat to completely stick together.
