Brazil Nuts - Whole, Shelled, Raw, Natural - healthy source of Selenium (3 Pounds)

The Brazil nuts are amazing. I’am very happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend them. There is only one question and concern I have. I found three with brown spots inside would this affect the quality over time or should the Brazil nuts be ok and not change the quality if there are any more in this 2 pound package. I’am not complaining about the quality in the most part because there fresh the taste and quality is amazing it’s just in the long-term I’am asking about world these be affected if there was one or two more with brown spots inside would it or not affect them. If you could let me know I would appreciate it. I would buy them again. I would recommend them.

I had always liked Brazil nuts but you could only get them in mixed nuts containers. After reading aarp’s health recommendation of 1 oz (7-8 pcs) per day - warning: no more - I got serious about finding them. Finally found them with Amazon’s help, got prompt delivery, and am happy with the product. From what I remember of the aarp article the selenium content was somewhere around 54 mgm (?) per oz., which is way, way more than other sources and is the reason for restricting your daily intake (health risk).

I found a 60+-year-old recipe for Brazil Nut bread that an aunt of mine used to make, and I wanted to try to make it. I've never even seen shelled brazil nuts in my grocery stores, so I ordered some here. They arrived quickly and were perfect for me to use in my recipe. The bread turned out great, but I've wondered now how in the world my aunt in a very rural community ever found the time to shell the nuts 60 years ago! Thank you for doing the dirty work for me!

The Brazil nuts are yummy and the main thing is that they are fresh, not like so many paged Brazil nuts that taste a little rancid. I asked the seller why Nutcrafts says they are superior to organic and the reply is that they are grown in a forest, not on a farm. I can understand this, and if they are not sprayed or treated in any way coming into the country or before and after, then I will be a returning customer again and again.

This product does not comply with legal labeling requirements. There is no list of ingredients, or any statement of origin of product, date packaged, any of the important things on ALL legally packaged food products. Could be a great product, but not worth the risk.

These Brazil nuts are the best. They are always fresh and meaty. I remember these when I was a kid, trying to eat them and getting all the nut out of the shell, it was frustrating. I can rely on a whole nut here I've bought these several times and decidedbto write this review. Love them hopevto find them here on Amazon for a long time. Thanks!

These are so good and I was so excited to find them already shelled. However, I did discover that they can be very toxic if eaten in a larger quantity or over a long period of time. The recommend amount is 5 in one day. While that seems like it would be sufficient it is easy to overeat them if you really love them like I do.
