Stupidly, I bought a beautiful marble dining table knowing nothing about marble and to my horror it arrived unsealed. After a panic attack from a drop of water IMMEDIATELY staining the table, we started researching and found this product. We followed the directions and after 24 hours we tried again and water did not leave a mark for a whole 2.5 minutes (from previous zero seconds). A few days later to be absolutely sure everything was dry we applied a second time. Now the water can sit on our table for a FULL TEN MINUTES with NO SPOTTING AT ALL! hallelujah! This saved our dining table, and it didn't affect color of the marble at all. I couldn't be happier.

I had purchased a new vanity with a granite top as part of a bathroom remodel. The top was not sealed well and water would leak through the finish and discolor the granite. Rather than go through the hassle of returning such a large item I decided to reseal it myself. I followed the directions given and applied 2 coats of this sealer. The smell was quite strong so I reccomend proper ventilation. It was easy to apply and worked perfectly. That was only two months ago so I can't speak to longevity but, so far, it worked perfectly. Even if it only lasts a few more months it is worth it due to how easy it is to use.

we had the granite countertops installed and I saw the fabricator use this brand so I checked it out and bought it from amazon and I went and applied it myself on the granite countertops. The product works well, you will have to do at least a couple of coats. be careful as this is a flammable product, and it has a strong smell. I would buy this product again

It was very easy to apply and goes on smoothly without much fuss. I originally was under the impression that it would cover the fine scratches or etch marks on my marble top sink, but it does not, it just seals the marble. I was however able to repair the etched areas (as far as refurbishing the shine as the sealer did not do that). I used a white polishing stick (my marble is white) and used fine shavings from that to rub and polish the dulled stone first - gently, so as not to create any scratches, then I used the sealer over that and this worked well.

Tenax Granite Sealer was a pleasure to use! As suggested by another reviewer, I cut an old dishcloth into a number of pieces and soaked one in the sealer. It was easy to spread over a small area, perhaps 2-3 feet at a time, across my 10 year old granite kitchen counter. After waiting about 10 minutes, I went back over the counter and polished it to a wonderful, glossy finish. My husband commented that it looked brand new! Put 2 coats on the counter and 3 around the faucet and soap dispenser. Tomorrow I will do my island. Love that it takes less than an hour to do a few coats, including letting them dry and buffing between coats. Highly recommend!

My installer left my new granite perfectly smooth. I asked him about the product he was using, and he told me had used this sealer for many years. His recommendation was to seal 1x per year. It's made in Italy and it's solvent based. Be prepared for a strong, lacquer thinner type odor. Work it into the stone with a microfiber cloth. Just keep lightly applying it onto the stone and then wipe off with a clean micro fiber cloth. It will soak into all of the micro fissures and pores. Spilled wine, coffee or grease cleans up in a second.

This product can came dented due to vendor shipping in a paper envelope. No protection at all especially due to its hazmat status. I will never purchase from this vendor again due to his lack of responsible shipping habit. When using this product make sure you have a respirator and not just a mask. Also have fans and open windows and vent as well as possible. Oder does go away in a few hours. But this is a high quality product and it works very very well. It is what the pros use and it is not that hard to apply. Just make sure you prep well and you are good to go. I will purchase again but not fro this vendor.
