Quartet Bulletin Bar Pin Strip Cork Board 48" x 1", For Classroom, Office, Cubicle, Aluminum Frame (Z2006)

It works perfect and is cute. Just what I needed. My only compliment is I had to restick it at some point and it ripped my sheetrock completely off the studs. Sooo thread lightly. I would have cared more if it was in my house but in my office where I can easily patch it and move on.

Just got this in the mail at my office and have to say the packaging was awesome item came in a packaging tube inside a long Amazon box... The item itself works great came with 4 magnetic strips already in place and an additional 4 3m double sided strips. The wall i put it on is concrete at first I was nervous about it falling however it stayed in place all shift...only down fall is the cork is indeed shallow however a fix for that is using wire cutters on your push pins to make them a little shorter.

This works great and I've ordered several. However with this last one, it did not come with the double sided tape/magnets like it always has before.

This bar is excellent for tacking notes. I have no complaints for this bar. However, it would be nice to be able to replace the cork strip after it wears out from the numerous pins used to tack the notes. The cork disintegrates with heavy use!

The Quartet Bulletin Board Bar arrived very quickly from the seller in generic, but protective packaging. The package was a cardboard tube, which contained the board bar with cork pre-positioned within the railing, a tube of 5 or 6 tacks (forgot how many), 3 or 4 double-sided tape pieces, and 3 or 4 magnetic strips with adhesive on one side to mount to a magnetic surface. The idea of this strip is very nice, but very poorly executed. The cork insert is extremely thin. I did not measure, but the provided tacks did not even insert half way. I determined I would not be able to hang anything from this as the tacks just did not go in deep enough to provide a solid hanging mount. I did not use the double-sided tape or magnetic strips, but opted to drill 3 small holes (one on each end and one in the center) and threw a couple of screws into the holes. Unfortunately, it says the cork board does not crumble. Not true, it crumbled all to pieces when I drilled the holes. Obviously, that is a little thicker than thumb tacks, but it still crumbled miserably with the tiny drill bit I used. Again, this is a nice idea, but I would highly recommend making the cork board thicker to make it useful; otherwise, it is just a waste. Until they make the cork board thicker, I would not recommend this for use to utilize tacks in...maybe staples...that they may be too long too.

Exact size I need, but won’t stick to wall. I put it up three days ago and was super excited. Came in my office today, it (and my calendar that was thumb tacked to it) are on the floor. The sticky part that was supposed to hold it to the wall, obviously did not; but worse, pulled paint off with it when it fell. Now I either need to use Command strips to keep up (which I didn’t want to do) or don’t use at all AND repaint.

If you read the comments on here you would think people are buying this to hang a house from it. Come on. This is a simple tack strip designed to hang paper. Second, if you really thought adhesive tape that comes with it would hold it up, well, glad it fell off on you. In literally 15 seconds I took 2 metal screws, guide them through the metal edge on the left/right, placed against wall, gently screwed into wall. It won't go anywhere. I found the screws in the bottom of my toolbox .. if you had to buy them, they are like 10 cents at Lowes in the bins. As far as the thumbtacks now going all the way in .. by design, if you try to push all the way in, metal will stop it. Why would you want the metal not to exist and hit wall? Second, if you can't get the thumbtack in at the depth on this, you simply don't need to be trying to hold your item up with a thumbtack. Come on people.

These cork strips are the perfect size for the area in which I wanted to put them. They are unobtrusive, yet handy for all of the little memos - appointment reminder cards, school schedules/events/permission slips, notices of store sales, etc. - anything that needs a temporary "home" so that it won't get lost or forgotten - until it is no longer needed and can be discarded to make room for something else! I think it deserves a 5-star rating as is, including the adhesive strips and magnets to attach it to the wall or refrigerator, but my busy family can sometimes be a little rough so my son easily adapted it with screws and anchors so that I could hang it on the wall in my home office because that is where all those reminders tend to end up. There are other choices that are designed to be hung on a wall, but this works well for me and is especially great at this price!

Perfect....the cork is not deep...but holds up the chart paper. Stickers backing needed to be reinforced. g

Love this product And only gave it a four out of five stars because the tape holding it to the wall wasn’t strong enough and I had to buy a new tape.

it works for my need in my office but at full price its just insane for what it is.
