Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol A49 Controller Keyboard

There's so much good in this keyboard. All the software it comes with is absolutely killer (Komplete Kontrol/Ableton) and the keys feel pretty good too. Just the right stretch of keys to not feel left out, can simultaneously conduct basslines and melodies with the range. Obviously doesnt feel like a real piano but it still feels like you're playing something. And again dude I cannot get over the software. The Gentleman piano vst that comes with it is gorgeous, having a copy of ableton is pretty nice, and theres enough sounds from synths to drums to basses that you cant not fall in love with it. No matter what genre you're absolutely set here. But if you're not, I'd urge you to check out Spitfire Audio LABS (it's free). If you're making songs this keyboard is absolutely perfect for whatever you may need it to be.

Super cool and fun. My son loves it.

So far I like my A49 Kontrol, perfec size some bells and whistles, nothing to stress me out, the more I play with discovered lots of functionality

Enjoying the keyboard so far and it's integration w/ NI instruments and Cubase is impressive. Finding this out took some time (and knocked a star off the review) since the installation instruction say that a firmware upgrade prompt will pop up automatically and it advises to upgrade the firmware for full functionality. However the prompt never appeared which led to an hours long ordeal of attempting to upgrade the firmware. The NI firmware utility was easy to find, but failed to detect the firmware. Repeatedly. Native Instruments' support site was unhelpful: one recommendation was to close all web browsers and relaunch the firmware utility. This does not inspire confidence (but does allow you to start all over again as you close, reboot and relaunch your web browser). Ultimately, like all of the posts in their forum, I moved on with no firmware upgrade and no indication of what firmware the A49 shipped with. The A49 is a very good product and appears to be solidly built, but due to the firmware update fiasco I have to wonder if it's as good as it could be.

The box the unit arrived in looked like it went to hell and back but the box inside was pristine, as was the product. Love this keyboard but I don’t have many to compare it to. I produce mostly beat melodies with it so I’m no concert pianist but it’s been a great tool so far.

I wanted a way to go through my NI librarys and presets without a mouse. I also wanted a smaller keyboard with a bed that feels good. This delivered and exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly recommended.

Build quality is superb just the feel and weight of it 👌 I would love if I could get a sponsorship from them 😀

I purchased this based off my extremely positive experience with my Komplete Kontrol s88, as I am not only able to integrate into the Komplete software well, but also use the midi encoders and buttons to use within ableton. This is completely different with the Komplete Kontrol A-series. First off, if you do not have ableton 10 - DO NOT BUY THIS. There are no available control surfaces provided by Native Instruments for previous versions of Ableton ( I have Ableton 9, don't see the point in paying $300 to upgrade when I purchased it two years ago...). Surely then, you can just create your own control surface right? No - The transport and perform buttons don't actually send midi CC values, so suddenly you can only use the 8 encoders to control settings. This also means that I have 12 buttons that are literally useless - I can't trigger anything in Ableton with the play button, record, or stop. Unlike my Komplete Kontrol s88 - which works perfectly. This whole process has been super frustrating, and there has been a severe lack of communication on Native Instrument's side on their forums and elsewhere. For the past 6 months they have been saying they will add the control editor in a software update "soon." Well it's been 6 months, and they've also released the m32 controller since then. Good luck getting any more support than that.

Excellent clavier et qualité de construction impeccable on sent qu’il va bien vieillir et son prix abordable je le recommande vivement à tout ceux qui débute

takes a minute to set up but once it gets going it feels good it plays good Fl studio compatability is there you can record play pause and even loop however its not as quick as it is in ableton, the workflow is much quicker in ableton because of session view which compliments live recording the software it comes with is actually pretty solid nothing great but for what you pay it comes with some great synthesizers and pianos

Native Instruments Bundle'ı varsa bu klavye tam size göre... Eğer kullanmıyorsanız daha ucuza ve daha fazla iş gören klavyeler var.

Upgraded from an older, very simple M-Audio controller and jeez, what an upgrade. This thing feels solid and the key action is incredibly responsive. All the knobs and buttons are nicely set and work beautifully. Bit of a learning curve in getting used to the navigation of the device using the tiny screen and very little documentation but it’s a fun and rewarding learning curve. And the results of taking the bit of time to learn how to use the device pay off - the DAW integration (Logic in my case) is super tight for both native DAW control and of course control of all of the Native Instruments plugins. Just an incredible value really. I’m convinced that all of my needs will be covered... until the next S-line refresh happens and I’ll probably cave and go all in with NI.
