LimbSaver AirTech Precision-Fit Recoil Pad for Wood Stocks

Great fit and as usual a great recoil pad. Easy install and will surely help the recoil as it does with the ones I put on my other guns

First, to remove the pad from the Remington Express 12-gauge, use a Phillips #2. Online they say to use a #1, this is dead wrong. Lube the screw driver shaft, and carefully engage the screwdriver. Wiggle the screw driver once engaged in the screw to free any debris in the drive for the screw. My screw had come crud in the drive once I removed it. The fit was not precision to the stock, this part is slightly wider and the end at the bottom of the stock stuck out maybe an 1/8" or more. I have not shot the rifle, but wanted folks to know what I know so far.

I did my research and the product fit perfectly. Highly recommend this product! Make sure you get the right one and you will not be disappointed.

Installed on a Mossberg 835 Magnum First off, I like this recoil pad. I like all Limbsaver recoil pads, once installed. They're durable, comfortable, and on higher caliber rifles and shotguns, they make the boom a lot more comfortable. That said, they really struggle in a few areas. A big one is installation...now, they're selling semi-universal fit recoil pads, and are subject to gun-makers changing the specs of stocks on a whim. So WHY do most of their pads still not contain slotted holes?! I've got at least a half-dozen Limbsavers on a half-dozen firearms, and I've had to slot every one of them. While this process is easy if you have the tools, it's infuriating to have to do something that should be done from the factory, and if you don't have the right tools, your either buying them, doing something janky, or your SoL. And no, slotting the holes does not make the pad slip once installed, especially considering 90% of the time, the top hole is the only one that needs slotting. The other thing is, why do they not include hardware? They're charging $40-50 for a piece of synthetic rubber and plastic...let's go ahead and include the $.02 hardware to install. While it's true in some cases you can reuse the factory hardware, in some cases you cannot, and in the case of this pad, you actually need 3 screws to install it on a synthetic stock, and the factory hardware is too long to use with this pad. Anyway, the pad works great, and while the installation required slotting the top hole and sourcing my own hardware, it was easy to install. The fact that the company won't do these simple things to make the installation process better, especially for the less experienced, is very annoying. If they'd slot the holes and include the hardware, I'd give it 5 stars, even if they charged a bit more.

This pad worked great on my Benelli Super Vinci synthetic stock using the plate adapter supplied! My Benelli already was great at reducing kick, but let me tell you... it was a pure joy shooting a 3.5 inch turkey load today! I was so different I decided to waste five more dollars and shoot another round to see if it just seemed less because of adrenaline! NO!!! The turkey load felt like a dove load! When I can, I will replace my other pads on various shotguns! AMAZING!

I replaced the recoil pad that came on the wood stock Gordion with the Airtech 10800. Felt recoil is noticeably reduced, and feels more like a 'push' rather than the sharp jolt. The fit is good, but required a small adjustment to one of the screw hole locations on the new pad. The screw hole on the wider end is approximately 1/4" from the wood stock screw hole. I used the Gordion mounting plate as a template to mark a point for drilling a screw hole in the Airtech pad. The Airtech mount came out great with that adjustment. I'm very happy with the change and the cost was realistic.

Doesn't reduce recoil as well as it claims although it does help. Screw holes did not line up but I elongated the holes with a Dremel and it works

Product fit the gun perfectly and it works as intended. Very little to no kickback now.

Fits a Tikka T3x with synthetic stock with no issues. The look up table for this from Limbsaver is terrible, and there are too many conflicting sources of information. Purchased this on the chance it was correct and not disappointed.

Good quality but recently the price has become insane.
