Access VBA Programming For Dummies

The book is an easy read. It can be used as a starting guide for beginners or even a reference book for a little more experienced users. It can be read in full or in pieces, it is a great reference to have on hand while beginning and continuing projects. No complaints. I only wish there were some exercises in the book to go through.

THis is a very good reference book for Access VBA code. I use it every so often. It does show you the basics on how to use Access VBA code

I enjoyed reading this book. its well organized and has so many information for beginners NOTE THAT its available for 2007 !

Repeats a lot of the same info... 2 chapters of the same info. Every paragraph seems to repeat what was on the page before it. Very little NEW information for such a big book. Could have said things once and made the book significantly smaller. Good info once you do finally get to it though.

GREAT book. Author knows how to present the material so you learn the correct way. Too many authors jump into Writing Code to soon.

I love the Dummies books. They're clear, fun, and make great reference books. This one is no exception. If you're trying to learn VBA, I highly recommend this book.

As an Access Amateur, I have had a few false starts trying to learn VBA. I have often been left wondering what's the point? If I needed some code I would usually cheat by converting a macro or copy and paste code from other sources. Most of the books written to explain VBA disappoint. They start off simply enough and then fly off into gobbledegook. This book has finally helped me understand the value of VBA. Unlike its rivals this book understands novices' needs. It explains the sections of codes experts take for granted taking you through them gently. Even more helpful the code contained in this book is actually useful to develop an integrated database! This is by far the best book on VBA for Access I have read.
