I bought them because all 23 reviewers gave them 5 stars but in my opinion they don't deserve 100%. They are not mats but nets! Too flimsy and move about easily under your plates. Completely see through, not as seen in the picture.

These do indeed look the part and should elegantly complement your existing classical decor. But, as one other review has already elucidated, they are rather flimsy. I have them positioned beneath brass legged table lamps, and do have concerns that a vigorous movement of the lamp could easily tear the burgundy net. Although, on the plus side here, this does allow the colour of the piece they are placed upon to show through somewhat.

I purchased two of these for my dinner table and I am very happy with the result. Yes, they are quite expensive, but they are exquisitely detailed and very pretty to look at.

This looked gorgeous on the Christmas table have bought matching place mats and another one shorter length for my coffee table very good value for the money paid would happily have paid more ! Have had loads of comments
