I liked this book it was awesome! I like it because I like the Leo character because he was a scary-cat it made him funny and tbe fact like the p-rex one there was two monsters in one.

Our kids LOVE Notebook of Doom book series
We read a different Scholastic books series first and needed another good "first chapter" series with lots of pictures to keep their attention. They LOVE the characters and guessing who is the baddie and/or what could happen next. Whenever possible we use the Kindle edition and broadcast it to our TV via our Amazon Firebox (via wireless projection) so that everyone can see the text and the pictures. Unfortunately not all the books are available for Amazon Kindle, so some books we had to buy as hard paper and we are running out of space in our bookshelves as we have sooo many books, so we prefer electronic copies. Electronic copies also allow us to share it onto their Amazon Fire tablets for kids. Again, LOVED by all of our kids and we have different ages and grasp of the world. It has gone so far, that our boys have us print out the monsters, trace them and then colour them in!

Great series
This is such a great “starter” series. My kinder boy loves these books and reads them well! My older son started on this set also and liked them years ago. They also have “Binder of Doom” now too!

Fantastic series and a great read for kids
This series of books is truly one of the best. My 5 and 7 year old get straight into the story, love the characters, examine the illustrations, and are not only engaged but find the reading level to be challenging and accessible. This is just one series in the Branches collection and each title brings its own charm and story. We love them and are certain you will too.
