Beautiful but not quite the quality I expected.

I've had many cloth placemats, but when they get soiled, they go into the laundry and they are never the same - I've even tried ironing them. A friend has these hardboard placemats, they are durable: thick enough to protect your dining room table, large enough for your plate, flatware and a beverage and the surface wipes clean easily. I bought two different sets so I have enough for family visits, or I can change around. I will never go back to cloth!
