I bought this as a bit of a joke having heard about it from a friend and having a laugh about it. But we buried him as instructed (albeit in the back garden as we don't have a front one). My partner duly said the prayer, and hey presto our house sold within 3 weeks. We are now happily installed in our new home and St.Joseph is on display until I have a friend to pass him onto who is selling home. I bought this statue after a recommendation from a friend (who had great success!). After 2 days, it arrived at my door and I was greatly pleased with the product - great detail, suitable size (after all, trying to fit a large statue in the ground when you are trying to pretty up your house for selling is not ideal!), and it comes with a great e-book with background information.Like most of the buyers here, I have been struggling to sell my house despite trying tips and tricks, decorating and updating, open houses, advertising, to no avail! I had lost hope, having reached a long patch of little to no interest. After planting the St. Joseph statue in the ground as instructed (with a little faith), my house sold within 2 weeks! Now on to new adventures!Lastly, I have to add, kudos to the vendor for sharing part of the profits with charity! That adds a little extra sunshine to my day!

This statue has good detail for a plastic statue. We buried it in our front yard to help sell our house. It was really weird because after following the instructions and placing the statue upside down facing the house in the front yard, we had a call from our real estate agent. Literally, within one hour of putting the tools away and cleaning our hands the phone rang. WHOO coincidence?? I don't know but it happened. The buyer the real estate agent called us with put in an offer and the house sold. Would recommend.

Several friends of ours told us we absolutely had to get one of these if we wanted to sell our house quickly, and we grudgingly did it and went through the process exactly as instructed in the little booklet that comes with it. Darned if we didn't get an offer within a few weeks! It's ridiculous and I feel stupid, but what the heck - it seems to have worked!

The problem with this is that the prayer was covered up with a sticker, so, it cannot be read. The directions are to say the prayer for 9 days. This can't be done obviously. Also, this was a gift for my daughter who is selling her house, we are both disappointed.
