It’s HUGE but awesome
This thing is fantastic, and worth every penny. I did a lot of online research before I got it, with trustpilot and other consumer review sites giving it four and five stars. When I went to check out, I got a pleasant surprise: I had a $100 Amazon gift card that I didn’t even know about, plus $38 and change in American Express credits! So first of all I got this for over 90% off, lol. Second of all, it looks tiny in the website picture. Like a little stick that you can stir directly into a cup. But it isn’t - it’s huge! You can blend a whole giant mixing bowl of mashed potatoes with this thing! It’s basically a hand powered blender! I bought it to blend my homemade Matcha lattes, and it does an incredible job of that. It takes up a little extra space on the counter, but it’s so well-made that I don’t mind, even though I thought I was getting a small emulsion blender. If you don’t mind that it’s bigger and heavier than a typical stick blender, and you don’t mind paying the price, I would totally recommend this.

Stop Comparing and order this one
This is probably the best immersion blender out there at the moment. The shaft is one piece so it doesn't leak like Kitchen-Aid models with different tip attachments. It also does not suck up liquid over time like the Cuisinart models (where you go to take it apart after using it a few times only to discover gunk has sucked up the internal spinning rod into the attaching area). It has a lot of power that can be dialed up or down. Best of all it has NO safety button or switch so you can use it seamlessly to pulse and push your food around — with one hand. What I did not realize was how big this thing is — much bigger than the regular sized plastic Braun I grew up with. This said, I was disappointed that the bottom part is too big to fit inside a mason jar. Heck, it's even too big to fit down into the bottom of the stainless cup they advertise as an add-on item. (Nice cup, just can't use it with this thing.) I use a 4 cup Pyrex glass pitcher to blend things up if they are not in a pot. This bigger foot does make it stable to stand on its own though. Now it takes a while to make a smooth smoothie, and it's not a Vitamix, but it's also under a hundred dollars. I don't mind a little texture to my drinks. This still works better than your average blender any day. Storing this is another issue. It stands well on its own, but it's too tall for under the cabinet unless you take it apart. I keep mine in a plastic bin where bags of alternative flours are kept. Best might be to make a mounting for it to hang on a wall. Oh, also, make sure it CLICKS when twisting the attachment onto the motor. It will work even when it's not truly locked in place, but it will come off a little too easily when you go to put it away. I used it the first few times that way. I was afraid to "force" it any further so that it aligned with the lock icon.

Best immersion blender out there. Hands down.
It took me sooooo incredibly long to find the perfect immersion blender, but this one is IT. I was looking for a BIFL (Buy It For Life) option and this has not disappointed. I will update in a few years and let you know how it's holding on, but as of now, it's great. I- t feels incredibly sturdy, plastic parts are minimal (just the handle itself) and the whole immersion part is stainless steel. there's a little silicone ring on the inside of the immersion snout, but it's to prevent things from sticking and it's minimal. I'd be okay if it was all stainless steel, but it's WAY more than Teflon or a plastic attachment that I've seen. We are very concerned with forever chemicals and microplastics making it to out food, and there are concerns with both of those when you're dealing with hot liquids and high rotation knives - I can't imagine bits of those wouldn't make it into your food while blending. - It's powerful! We barely use much of its power and it does an AMAZING job blending frozen things or soups. The most power we use is to blend meats from cooking broth to make pierogi filling and it still does a good job. Overall, I was looking for a blender to prepare food safely for my baby and this did not disappoint. I'm so glad there are still good quality appliances! I would 100% recommend.

A great immersion blender
I wasn't certain if I would like this because it is so much larger than my other immersion blenders, but wow, I love it! It has a larger head and so it does a much better job of whatever you want to use it for. I use it for soapmaking. It doesn't take long to have the results you are looking for and I like that it is longer and has a great warranty. I tried to register it online and the company web site wouldn't take the information, so I contacted them directly and they registered it with the information that I provided, so this has been a great experience thus far. I like that it doesn't have a safety button that you have to hold down in order to use it, but by the same token, you need to be careful that you unplug it before sticking your hands in the blades to clean it (which is just common sense). The variable twist power switch is a nice feature. The bottom comes off and it cleans up easily. The cord is long enough as well. This is a powerful unit that I am very happy with.

Super Power, then super scrap.
So, let me tell you about my ongoing saga with immersion blenders—it's become this quiet tragedy in my little restaurant kitchen, the kind where you keep hoping the next one will be "the one," but deep down you know you're just delaying the inevitable. It all started innocently enough. Back when I was green at this whole owning-a-restaurant thing, I figured those $20 Amazon specials would do the trick. Bought two. Both gave up the ghost after about a month, like they realized restaurant life wasn't for them and quietly retired. Then came the big Vevor beast early in the summer—it's still soldiering on, but lately it's making those ominous rattling sounds that say, "I'm trying, boss, but I'm tired."Not learning my lesson, I thought the KitchenAid cordless would change everything. No cords! Freedom! Turns out it had the power of a polite suggestion and a battery that stopped holding a charge after two weeks. It just... stopped. Like it had somewhere better to be.By this point, I was starting to question my life choices, but I pressed on. Enter the All-Clad. I unboxed it and immediately thought, this thing is serious. Powerful enough that I half-jokingly figured I could bolt it to my old john boat and it'd push me across the Atlantic without complaint. For the first couple months, it was perfect—turning mountains of garbanzo beans into the smoothest hummus you've ever tasted, handling four-gallon pots of tomato basil soup like it was blending air.I actually started to believe I'd finally found a reliable partner. And then, one day, it wasn't. The shaft attachment gave up—that little plastic insert in the motor housing came loose, and now when you click it on, the whole thing just spins uselessly. No resistance, no blending, just a sad whirring helicopter impersonation. I'm pretty sure one of the cooks got a bit overzealous snapping it in, or maybe the daily bumps and chaos finally won. Either way, it hurt. For the $130 I'd spent, I was tempted to break out the epoxy and MacGyver it back together. Might still try.I know the fine print says "home use," and I'm not blaming All-Clad—my place only seats 36, it's not some high-volume factory. But we're still asking more of it than blending the occasional smoothie. Just not quite ready to drop $600-plus on those full-on Waring commercial tanks, impressive as they are; they're built like bricks and take up way too much precious space.

Impossible to clean, very powerful, unsatisfactory customer support.
I bought this for two jobs, blending eggs for breakfast and a variety of soups over the winter. The smells emanating from the unit after a few weeks of use are vomit inducing and the support so far has not been prompt or especially helpful. Here's the situation: we owned a cheap cuisinart immersion blender for 7 years. It was low power, sort of lightweight and noisy but it got the job done and cleaned up easily until the motor died. When I researched a replacement it was right around the same time I'd decided to swap out all of our cheaper cookware with All-Clad stainless as well so I read some reviews and decided to make it a matched set. This is a sturdy and powerful unit but I make eggs every morning, for myself and my family. At first a began to notice little smell coming from the unit, so I took more care washing it. Then it blossomed into something really putrid, which left me reaching out to the manufacturer for advice, they of course suggested I wash it better and leave it upright until dry. This did not work... it seems to pull liquid up into the shaft while blending and it is impossible to get it out. I'm not the kind of person who gags easily. (I have kids and I'm always the one on puke cleanup when they get sick - no problem!) But I put my nose close to this thing once after a couple days in the drawer and I almost lost my coffee. For a $90 product I'm disappointed that it takes 2 weeks to accept it back for 'inspection' and I'm really disappointed with the fact that the inspection takes 3 or 4 weeks. I don't know what the final verdict will be but I've gone ahead and bought another cheap cuisinart which is working just fine and doesn't smell like death after use.

Best Immersion Blender on the market!
We have stand-alone blenders which I always use for soups (transferring from the pot), but my curiosity was piqued by what seemed to me a sudden popularity for hand-held immersion blenders. I know that many friends have enlightened me since that they have been popular for a long time now actually. I did some research, found that this All-Clad Immersion blender consistently received the highest ratings and ordered it. I am so exceptionally glad I did! I used it the day I received it and was blown away by how much better it is than the stand-alone blender I had been using for so, so many years. It is fast, easy to handle, powerful and easy to clean. I definitely am delighted to recommend it!

Super Power for a Super Price
I was so excited to find this immersion blender by All-Clad. I had been looking to replace my old All-Clad immersion blender since my husband accidentally broke. It was 13 years old and had always worked great so I wanted the same brand. This new All-Clad blender is so much more powerful. I made a cream of zucchini soup with it and it made short work of blending up all the zucchini. It has a nice long handle that allows for use ina large stock pot. I am please. The only downfall (if you could call it that) is I cut myself cleaning it....it is far sharper than my old one too so be very careful. Otherwise it was a great purchase at a great price.
