Got if for my reference (VTU). It's got more than you need. Get those basics brushed up clear and crisp. The exercise problems won't bore you.It's a book, the content matters, and it's purely subjective. I personally found it useful too.

I got this for my state's engineering exam as a reference book. I saw in the reviews that the language is hard, but is it though? If one can't understand this book, one might as well look for a regional language book. The contents are on par with specifically published books for specific subjects. I wish I had gotten this book earlier - in my college days. However the downside is that, few topics from EEE which I had hoped to see, like - control systems is missing. Over all, this is a good book.

Ordered this for my dad who teaches this subject for Marine Engineering and this year they they changed the syllabus to which matches the contents of this book.
