Best Cold Brew Out There!
Don't drink much coffee but after reading an article that Stumptown Coffee did a test on Cold Brew coffee that showed it killed pathogens forming in the coffee vs normal coffee that was brewed in hot water. I decided to give Caveman Coffee a try. It tastes surprisingly good. And there's some serious energy boost without all the crap of energy drinks. Seems easier on the stomach. Given that it's got ZERO SUGAR, it helps with sticking to a keto diet or just trying to lose weight. Honestly. cut sugar out of your life it'll change your world. The best part of the large cans is there's enough where I can drink half and just throw it in the fridge for later. Haven't tried mixing it with anything like MCT or Grass Fed Butter (like those bulletproof coffee) but this just does it for me. Thank you for bringing cold brew into my life!

Smooth flavor without the bitterness.
First, I don’t write a lot of reviews. Second, I rarely drink plain black coffee because I thinks it’s too bitter and acidic. I first heard of Caveman Coffee while listening to a podcast so I decided to check it out for myself. After reading several reviews on the Nitro Cold Brew, I thought I’d give it a try. I placed the order and it arrived in a matter of days. Once I opened the box, I immediately placed a can in the refrigerator for the next morning. When the time came to taste the coffee, I was very surprised at how smooth it was. There was no bitterness at all. I actually liked it. For the first time I liked black coffee. No sweetener, no milk, just cold black coffee. I’ll definitely make this a regular purchase.

Good cold brew, poor/no nitro infusion.
I do not know if I received a bad batch of product, but the case of 12 that I received have all been flat so far (opened 4). I have had my fair share of Nitro Cold Brew's so I understand the pouring process to get the proper cascade and head. No matter what I did I could not get this brand to cascade at all. Even vigorously shaking the can and immediately opening it lead to an almost inaudible "pssst", like opening a can of Snapple, showing little to no signs of nitrogen infusion. I have reached out to the seller directly to explain my concerns, especially with this item being one of the higher priced Nitro's. Otherwise, this is an extremely delicious and smooth cold brew. EDIT: Reached out to Caveman Directly since Amazon doesn't offer refunds or replacements. They immediately went above and beyond and offered to send me a replacement when there next batch comes in. Outstanding costumer service.

Legit! Worth the Splurge!
Caveman Nitro is LEGIT! It’s a little pricey compared to readily available cold brew, but this is hands down my favorite ready to drink cold brew. The coffee is super smooth and potent - I enjoyed the nitro both straight up or blended in a cup with some MCT oil powder. Can’t wait for this to restock so I can reorder!

No cascade, bad batch? Nice and strong but not bitter
Coffee was nice and strong without bitterness. However, the structure and taste was also very flat. I know itnisn’t carbonated, but after watching videos I can see that my batch is off because there is zero cascade, even after shaking and pouring vigorously.

CRAVE THE CAVE!
I don’t usually buy products that celebs are shilling, but after hearing Joe Rogan go on and on about Cave Man Coffee on his podcast, I thought I’d give it a try. I consider myself a heavy coffee user, typically having 3 or 4 cups a day. Cold-brew and or Americanas are my go-to as of late, so I hadn’t had that much experience with the Nitro infused. WOW is the first thing that comes to mind. From the first sip, it was different than any coffee I had ever consumed. Drank cold, on ice, it was smooth and light with a fantastic aroma. To the palate, it was very similar to drinking Guinness. And what counts, it got me JACKED! One can (11.5 fl oz) is equivalent to 3 espresso shots—nothing else in the office fridge from now on.

The original nitro was better
Bigger isn’t always better! I was torn between 2 and 3 stars on this one. The taste is decent but let’s be honest there is next to no nitro effect and I shook the holy hell out of the can. Shelf stable retorted cold brew simply is hard to get the proper nitro head. Also the original nitro frankly had better flavor. I’m not sure the retort process on the shelf stable version is changing the flavor but I’m assuming it is. Also for a shelf stable product I’m confused why I need to drink this within 5 weeks. Will there be flavor degradation that quickly? Decent coffee but hardly any nitro effect.

Nope!
I first want to say that I love nitro cold brew and prefer to drink it black, as the cold brew/nitro process makes the coffee so smooth and almost sweet in taste. This is a new brand to me, so I followed the instructions on how to get the best results - “two shakes and vigorous pour”. On first impression, there was not the typical sound indicating the nitrogen release, (the psst-sizzle) and the usual “head” that forms at the top of the pour that is typical on the nitro brew was missing. I held off on forming a final opinion though until I took my first sip. Unfortunately, it was just as disappointing. The coffee was bitter and flat, and has a flavor-profile I cannot quite describe. I am hoping that this is just a bad can, as I have the rest of the case to get through. 😞
