- Mens Hooded Plaid Flannel Berber Lined Shirt Jacket

It's that time of year when the temps are starting to drop and I start to wonder if I have a go-to for this fall. And maybe even the timing coincides with a few Black Friday sales? 😃 Well, I've been buying a lot of Dixxon flannels, very stylish, and living in the Northwest, Carhartt hoodies and apparel are fairly mandatory, so I was intrigued to see this shirt from a brand I hadn't paid attention to in the past. Legendary Whitetails. The style of a flannel shirt with a hoodie? I had to take a closer look! From the ad, I was loving the color scheme of the flannel design, it had that soft 'hug me' kind of look, a warm, lined interior, and a clean, light colored hoodie. I might not know style, but I do recognize the style I like when I see it! 😁 I ordered it last night, it arrived today, and I couldn't be more excited. I live in North Idaho and the weather is feeling fresh, so what a fortuitous coincidence it should arrive while I'm out in the yard playing with my Spaniel. Unable to wait until I'm inside, I immediately open the package on the back of my flat bed pickup only to find... That it's everything I thought it would be, and more! 🥰 The colors and texture are exactly what it looks like in the picture, but even better in person. And feeling the cloth in my hand, the exterior shell is marvelously soft and squeezeable. The soft lined interior feels warm to the touch, so I removed my Carhartt hoodie and donned my newest favorite go-to outer shirt, it's wonderful! I love the hoodie, it fits my head the way I wish my Carhart's did, and instantly I felt the warmth that I just wasn't getting from the Carhart. It feels good, it fits well, I love touching it and feeling the fabric, and it looks and moves great. To the details, I ordered a XXL Tall, the length on the side was a little shorter than where my fingers lay, while it's a little longer than my fingers in the front and back. I feel like it actually fits me, I can move around in it. Do I love my purchase? I do! And at approximately the same price point as the Dixxon flannels, and being as functional as my Carharts but with style, I'm gonna be looking into making a change in my wardrobe and adding more Legendary shirts to the line up! 😊

In short, nice, comfortable, warm enough for most cold weather (probably not enough for middle of winter in New England, but enough for fall and spring). Definitely longer than expected. I’ve been looking at getting one of these for a while but they were always out of my price range. It went on sale so finally decided to get it. It is very comfortable and warm (though I imagine it won’t be quite enough for very very cold days like windy and/or temps below about 10degF). I will say that other reviews saying it’s too long are correct. I’m 6 ft 5in tall and always buy 2XL Tall for all my clothes. I decided to do the same for this product and it is several inches longer than I expected. It goes just over half way down my thighs (so closer to my knees than my waist). The pockets are so low that my hands rest just in the pockets with my arms hanging straight down. I’m keeping it because I do like it and it’ll be nice to have something long for windy days but I may buy another eventually and won’t get the Tall size.

My husband’s go to comfy coat for fall and winter! I wanted to get my husband a casual “everyday coat” that he could throw on and look put together but that would also be comfortable like wearing a sweatshirt and when I saw this I knew it would be perfect! In the fall and winter it is definitely what he reaches for most. My husband is big with a broad back 5’11 220 and the XXL fits perfect. It is definitely wind resistant with a thick inside layer. It has in inside lining of a fuzzy comfortable material that he really likes. I think the brown plaid pattern that I got is a very neutral but still attractive pattern.

I'm 6"5 and it's hard to find jackets that fit well. This jacket not only fits perfectly, it's light, but warm. Soft and comfortable. I'd buy it again, but with the leather elbow patches and quality build, I won't have to.

I bought it for my husband and he says it's too warm and perfect for cold days. He used it in Washington and Oregon during freezing temperatures and he stayed warm and loved it. Good thing that it has a hoodie which he can quickly pull up during slight rain, drizzle or to even cover his ears from cold breeze. My only complaint is it is a bit long for him even though he is 5'9" tall and I have purchased a medium size, which is his regular size. Otherwise it is a perfect jacket.

This is a flannel shirt with Berber lining. It snaps closed in front, no zipper. One of my snaps broke off after wearing a couple of times. The jacket is super warm . I liked the first one (red color) so much that I bought a second one in blue. For added warmth it has a hood, which is great for me. I am a big tall guy and I usually take extra large tall size which was not available. I ordered 2 extra large tall which fit’s perfectly. I did read that they shrunk when washed. I had these before and you cold water wash them and hang dry them for a couple of days. Keep them out of the dryer. I will update when I wash them. So far great item. Update- I need to get snaps. I know that I can tighten the snaps but the broken one is a problem. I bought a universal snap kit from Amazon. Wash on cold water for 4 minutes, no extra time. Hang dry open for a day and a half. There was no shrinkage on mine. Putting anything in the drier is asking for shrinkage. Nice jacket. Wish it was made in the USA. Saxman

I'm trying to make it the entire winter without heat. With this jacket on I'm comfortable down to around 40-45F without layering; just my regular short sleeve polo underneath. I have plenty of room to layer when the temperature drops further. Unlike most flannel it's really quite thin, which I love - flannel is usually so thick and overbearing I dislike wearing it. The lining is fantastic. The hood is on the snug side compared to other jackets I have, but this actually helps a lot when it comes to trapping warmth; there's less heat loss and my head stays warmer. I'm particularly fond of the generous sizing. I'm a big guy; I'm between 2-3XL depending on manufacturer, but the 2X here was a very comfortable fit and pretty much the perfect size for me. I don't have any complaints - if anything, I wish the same jacket was available in a pattern other than plaid. Definitely going to be buying more from LW in the future!

Worth every cent! Top quality and its now my ‘go to’ warm top! It is too big but that’s my fault for not reading the message stating to order a size down. All good though as I can wear a thick jumper underneath on the really cold days.
