The Hikari Miso additive-free stuck have 750g

We first bought this back in November 2025 and reordered in January because we went through it that fast. That pretty much says it all. We use it mainly for homemade shabu shabu and as a soup base and it works perfectly every time. The flavor is not overpowering at all, it hits just the right level which makes it really versatile. A little goes a long way so even though we went through two containers quickly it is because we cook with it so often not because it runs out fast. One tip for anyone buying this for the first time, take your time dissolving it. Do not just dump it into the pot. Dissolve it slowly and it will incorporate perfectly. Skip that step and it won't dissolve properly and you'll notice a difference in the final result. Really happy with this one and it has become a regular in our kitchen. Highly recommend especially if you enjoy Japanese cooking at home.

Excellent miso. Highly recommended. I’ve been eating miso for 50 years. You won’t be disappointed.

Product arrived as expected. The only complaint is the plastic container dented on one side. I would prefer no dent but it is ok.

The tub arrived in perfect condition: double wrapped to prevent potential leaks, the container was securely sealed. This is exactly what I wanted and was unable to find locally.

It was opened and leaked all over everything

My second and third purchase of this miso paste arrived in a good shape. It was carefully packed in a box with packing paper and wrapped in plastic. I appreciate it. The taste of this miso is as good as one of those you get from Japanese restaurants. Price goes up a bit.
