Deliciously unique. Just like I had in Germany
I like that this is real beet sugar crystals with a natural caramel color, not an added artificial caramel coloring. It makes my coffee and tea taste European. It is quite pricey, but to have it imported directly from Germany would be even more expensive. Since I usually have one cup of coffee a day, it’s worth the splurge. If you use very hot water (just boiled), the crystals dissolve quickly. They will not dissolve in cold water.

Great flavor!
This sugar is perfect for tea. It reminds me of the little coffee shops in Amsterdam. I’m of the opinion that beet sugar has a better flavor than cane sugar and it goes well with brewed teas.

Really great - just huge
Really tastes great. I have only one issue with this (and I did not knock a star off because of it - it's just my personal preference). The pieces are huge. I was trying to find a cheaper alternative to teavana and while this definitely tastes exactly the same, the pieces are just so big I keep over sugaring my tea. I'll keep getting it regardless. It's considerably cheaper. In the photo: Teavana on the left - sugar lab on the right.

Sweetens without artificial flavor
I’ve purchased this sugar twice now and will definitely buy again when I need it. It sweetens without altering the flavor like granulated sugar sometimes does. It works great in hot beverages. My only complaint is I wished it worked better in cold drinks. It doesn’t seem to dissolve very well in cold drinks and requires constant stirring. Even with a cold drink it still sweetens without altering the flavor of your drink.

A Beautiful, Subtle Sweetener for Tea
This Belgian brown rock sugar is a wonderful addition to hot tea. It adds a smooth, gentle sweetness without overpowering the flavor of the tea, and the crystals dissolve well when stirred into a hot drink. I especially like being able to adjust the sweetness by adding just a few pieces at a time. The amber-colored crystals also look attractive in a glass sugar bowl and make serving tea feel a little more special. The two-pound bag is a generous size and should last quite a while. This is a great replacement for traditional sugar cubes and a nice choice for anyone who enjoyed the rock sugar served with Teavana-style teas.

Amazing
There's just something really neat about offering rock sugar at a tea party. They do take a while to dissolve fully, though, so I always put them in with the tea leaves before brewing instead of adding them afterward. They are indistinguishable in appearance from the cane rock sugar I used to buy (see pic: cane sugar on the left, this beet rock sugar on the right), although I fancied they tasted a bit sweeter (that might've been my imagination, however). It is definitely economical to buy by the pound. I am glad I am able to subscribe so I can get them on a regular basis.
