Very good - better than expected
I recently acquired a new vehicle. My dog (14# American Eskimo) loves going for rides, and she had gotten accustomed to putting her front feet (from the back seat) on the center console of my old car (she was 9 years old when we adopted her, and after a year of trying to break her of the habit, I caved…). However, the center console in the new car is not really conducive to her standing on it, so I searched for a product to help me keep her strictly in the back (typical hammock style covers do not deter her). I was particularly interested in the Pikaon Barrier because of its size (seems to be larger than many other similar barriers), and the mesh-like material (see through and allows air flow). The product fits the space between the front seats very well, is easy to attach and adjust, and actually looks good in the vehicle (at first quick glance, you might think it came with vehicle). Importantly, the barrier did a better than expected job at keeping our dog in the back seat. She did try a few times to figure out how to get around or over it (mainly by standing on back legs with front paws on the back of the passenger seat), but we promptly corrected her, and she rather quickly seemed to realize that it was no use. Additionally, we were recently on a 3-hour road trip, and after she relaxed, she seemed to appreciate that she could see us in the front seat through the barrier while she was laying on the back seat. Lastly, there is an air conditioning vent on the back of the center console for the back seat area, and this barrier does not obstruct airflow because of the mesh design. Overall, I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and effectiveness of this product. While I am sure there are some highly motivated and athletic dogs out there that could get over this, I would feel comfortable recommending this product for a majority of dogs (and owners) out there.

A Good Product/Company
I have a medium sized 10 month old pup. She doesn't like riding in the car at all! She is constantly trying to climb up front and probably in my lap which would be bad. The barrier held her back with no problem. It was extremely easy to install and did its job. I recommend this product for small to medium dogs. A determined large dog would easily go over the top of it. You'd be better off with one of the metal guards for that, in my opinion. The company obviously takes pride in their product and cares about customer satisfaction. That's important to me.

Not for a 30lb athletic dog
My Ram 2500 has high headroom. The barrier easily attached to the headrest, but that still left too much clearance for my athletic spaniel to leap over to the front seat. I had some difficulty attaching the bottom straps to the seat glider rails on the floor as the manual passenger seat sits almost directly on the floor. The barrier was perfect for my Great Dane. If I were using the barrier for just Danes, it would be a very good value that for it's sturdiness and ease of use.

Challenge for your dogs
I used this bad boy to cover an open spot behind my center consol. I already installed a bigger dog barrier, but my heeler is a weasel & found a way to get through a 9" opening. When I got this, I found it to be sturdy, easy to install & thick mesh. My heeler ripped a sizable hole in 3 days. (My dogs love to destroy barriers, they find it to be a game) Great product but not as indestructible as I need.

Keeps our the backseat driver in the back.
We have a medium size dog that loves to stand on the consol and look out of the front of the car. worse yet she LEANS really had on the driver's shoulder for stability. It had to stop. We found this net and it is very sturdy and well made. It's design and the length of the straps allow it to attach to most any seat configuration. We have a Chevy Colorado and had no problems finding points to attach the net to. NOTE: While it keeps our dog in the back while driving (YAY!) she CAN jump over it to sit in the front seat while we are gone but we do not consider it a problem as it keeps her back while the vehicle is moving and that was the first and main goal. I highly recommend this net.

Keeps the doggo in the backseat!
This worked great to keep my 60 lb Spaniel from trying to get on the console between the front seats. The material is very sturdy. It was easy to adjust and connect the two upper straps to the headrest posts. Had to fish around at the bottom of the seats to attach the two bottom straps. I like this model because it is made of sturdy mesh material and is wider than the opening (so doggo can't try to sneak in the side) Also the mesh fabric can allow air conditioning to flow to the back seat and we can see what he is up to behind us. Took it on a two hour trip and worked great. (Purchased with own funds/not sponsored)

Does the job!
I love to take my dogs on errands with me, but they aren't happy with the whole back of the SUV, of course. They want to be in the front seat next to me. I hoped that just blocking the area between the seats would encourage them to stay in the back and it has! This barrier is well made and sturdy. It was easy to install and, best of all, it does the job. It's just enough of a discouragement to keep the dogs where they belong. If you have a dog that is determined to get into the front seat, this is probably not the best option, but if your dogs are like mine and aren't incline to bulldoze through things, it's a great solution.

Couldn’t attach the bottom straps to anything
This product was unusable. I couldn’t find anything to attach the bottom straps to that made any sense. The bottom of the seatbelts doesn’t make any sense for safety reasons, and attaching it somehow to the front seat rails doesn’t make sense because then you can’t move the seats. It doesn’t have any frame around it so you can’t just tie it up on the top and keep the dog in the backseat, unlike other models I have found that have a frame and so you don’t have to attach anything on the bottom. I bought this because of the multiple great reviews, but I have to say I regret it.
