CCleaner Professional System Optimization Tool Unlimited Home Use

I've been wanting to clean up my computer and improve its speed/operation for awhile now. The longer I put off making a decision the more problems I encountered. I've become quite attached to my older model tower. I know it as well as anyone can who is not a professional computer geek and I'm comfortable with how it operates. I am truly loathe to purchase a new computer and so I've turned to software solutions to help me improve its operations. I ordered the CD version of CCleaner because I'm old school and still have a mild distrust with downloadable software.I'm pleased and impressed with this product. It was easy to install and just as easy to operate. Upon installation the program runs with defaults. Since I haven't delved too deeply into the in's and out's of the various customizable options I ran CCleaner with the defaults. The operation was simple and very effective. I've already seen a difference in how quickly and smoothly my computer is running. I deal with a major visual impairment so it's important that any software package I use be without complications and user friendly for the legally blind. CCleaner gets high marks on both these issues. I think it would also be user friendly to anyone who is technologically challenged. With consistent use of CCleaner I feel very hopeful for the future of my five year old computer. Pairing this program with an equally effective Antivirus and an Anti-Malware package should keep my system running smoothly for years to come. This product has more than earned 5 stars in my opinion. I highly recommend it for giving new life to older computers.

Cleans as indicated but my laptop is still slow but no longer shuts down arbitrarily like before. So I guess the CCleaner system works. I like the fact that it cleans the system as soon as I am done surfing.

I think it is a good product and does what it says it suppose to, for me, it did clean my computer of unwanted and junk files but it did not make a noticeable difference in the speed.

I installed this, and all of the anomalies my computer has, such as a flashing screen after which everything freezes, the inability to connect to any news stories and other sideline items, and a spastic tendency for my keyboard to ignore spacing between words, etc are now worse. Moreover, now I cannot burn CDs, whereas beforehand, that wasn't even one of the issues. But kudos to C'Cleaner PSOT for making it into one.OH, and now my Youtube, my emails, my Facebook, etc all suddenly require me signing in in order to access them...I had to sign in to Amazon to get HERE.I'm seeking a refund, and I'm going to look into legal action on this, as C'-C'-C' Cleaner owe me a new computer, and they should pay me for damages, in addition.

The program loaded easily and the time to run the program wasn't long at all. However, there is no noticably change in the speed of the computer afterwards..

I was very happy with the result I received from this program. My windows 7 Dell laptop computer was running very slowly and often freezing with websites I'd visit. I always had to shut the computer down and reboot every time. The program was easy to install and was quick to clean up the hard drive. Now my computer runs like new! I took my laptop to a professional computer geek several months ago to clean up my computer's hard drive and paid $80. After waiting several days to have it back, I did not notice much difference in performance of my computer. It still ran slow. I really like this program. It was money well spent and I would recommend it to others.

The version in the package is v5.04 dated 2015.Must be old stock, but with these things it is the license that matters, because you should be able to get the latest from Piriform's website.The current version on the website is v5.27 (as of 2/2017).And you will need a newer version than what is shipped if you use Windows 10 Pro: if you try to install it from the shipped CD, you get an error message (see picture).

Well I bought 2 of these 1 to my Son+worked like a Champ!! Bought 1 for my Older Brother+Disc was not loaded+would not work,Had 2 send that one Back! Sorry!
