Thick strands and doesn't leave much color in the hot milk
The packaging was good but shipment cost was high. I was charged 70 rupees for a 250 rs product which is around 30% of the product price. We got the smallest quantity to test initially. Unlike other saffron we had bought earlier, these ones were a bit thick strands and didn't turn the color of the milk as the earlier ones did. The earlier ones we used were fine strands and was easy to consume with hot milk and left a visible change in colour. Color wise it looks authentic but unsure about the thickness of the strands

This is the first time I ordered shalimar brand saffron.. Yesterday i received my order and I check the saffron in cold water it slowly release the colour, the aroma was good and the taste was light bitter taste. saffron was floating into the water.... Then I rub the saffron on my hand is not cut....
